CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Lol when I lived in a state park in the mountains in Cali we had bears poking around a lot. I don't have such a good photo though. I was busy trying to decide realistically what I would do if he actually got in, since I had no phone or cell reception. Fortunately they are mostly just looking for food ...

Yeah, best to back off, make sure you don't surprise her, and keep clear of those cubs!
We returned late one night to a grizzly cub playing around in the front yard. Mom was not in sight - so not sure which direction she might come from. I begged my husband to wait in the vehicle until the cub had wandered off. I did NOT want him getting between them!

I've always wanted to paint a sports car to look like a snail with a big "S" on the top. I'd drive around really fast and people would say, "Wow, look at that "S" car go!
