CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I would like to thank you all for your prayers, it has been helpful to know that there is people out there who do care.
Furthermore, I would ask today that you could especially pray for me because I have to meet face to face with the person who raped me on 3 occasions, and I really need your support today especially....I am meeting him at 11am for A victim impact thing and I am scared stiff, and I need God's support, though I can't feel it at the moment.

dear heavenly father i pray that you carry new thru this time of need just as you carried the man in footprints. she needs you now. help her to know that you felt the pain that she felt as she goes thru this time of suffering. bring her the strength that she needs so despartly. you are her rock of strength god. help her get thru this victims impact thing.

During some times, you may not 'feel' God's presence, but don't worry - He's there. Sometimes he seems to 'pull away' as a means of testing you. Just keep faith in God.

Hi, when I was a young girl, I was sexually abused as well. I know it is diffucult and one of the first things you must realise is, it is not your fault. Father, help this new christian and bring her that peace that your word talks about, the peace that passes all understanding. Give her strenghth Father in her times of trouble, You said that we coulld give you our yolk and that we could take yours for it is easier to handle. I pray that you take her yolk and guide her in your ways. Help her parents to find that path which leads to salvation and unite this family as one in your presence. Amen

Hey all, I want to thank all those who again have been here to support me, but I ask now that you pray for someone else. The Steven's Family has recently lost their son Jarrod to a shark attack off glenelg beach, and I had been witnessing to him and he was ready to accept God, I ask that you pray for the family, and for all his friends, that we may hold ourselves up during this tragedy.
