There is no difference. Gods Words of the O.T. were the Words of God in Christ, the LIVING WORD. The intentions of any commands are to the results of love.

God's Laws are "holy, just and good"; at least that's what Paul said.


God says that He gave His Laws to man so that life would go well for him.


God's Laws are for our own good and to make us happy.


When you understand these things and obey God's Laws you will see how much better life goes than living it your own way.


Of course it takes faith, that is the kind of faith that not only believes in God but faith that believes God.

You know, like Abraham did.

No doubt as to 'intent.' No amount of 'fleshly observance' will serve to enact LOVE in the heart toward our neighbors.

God says that He gave His Laws to man so that life would go well for him.

All the commandments are comprehended, obtained and FULfilled when loving ALL our neighbors is the final result. The O.T. is filled with [physical/fleshly] ordinance which ALL must be viewed in a spiritual manner to the extent of LOVE. They were ALL SHADOWS of LOVE. Shadows are not the 'reality' of the Spiritual intent of ALL the commands injected into the heart.

When you understand these things and obey God's Laws you will see how much better life goes than living it your own way.

The difficulty with 'shadow legalists' is that in the final analysis they 'use' the commands to extract VIOLENCE against their neighbors RATHER THAN love. Violence meaning reeking of condemnation to neighbors, judgment to neighbors and ultimately some form of ETERNAL DEATH or PUNISHEMENT to neighbors such as burning them alive in fire forever...and of course the nearly complete exoneration of themselves under those same laws.

ALL of that working is a working and a showing of the EVIL in the heart that has been aroused and provoked by that same LAW to show itself IN THE HEART and IN CONTROL of that heart.

Of course it takes faith, that is the kind of faith that not only believes in God but faith that believes God. You know, like Abraham did.

Anyone can claim they are children of God or children of Abraham or children of faith.

Faith works THROUGH love. To say one has 'faith in God' or 'loves God' by faith and then NOT loving ALL our neighbors there is NO FAITH nor is faith possible apart from 'that measure.' If you can't love those you have before your eyes (neighbors) then claiming to love what you can't see (God) is a sham. (1 John 4:20 and many others)

Notice it is just the covering that is removed...which means when reading the OC we should be able to see it in the Light of Yeshua.

The Sabbath was created at creation at not with any covenant. Why was the Sabbath even made at creation about 2000 years before Moses if it was just for a covenant. Can you show me in the bible what is the covenant instituted by Christ and what it involves? What is the change made between both covenants?


It was already stated by it needs to be restated. Clean and unclean foods were known since the days of Noah. Before the law concerning those foods were given it was already known. Before the law concerning idolatry was given it was already known. Before the law concerning graven images were given it was already known. Before the law concerning the Sabbath was given it was already known. Many of the laws were given as a reminder to the people for things they already know and things they might have forgotton being in bondage for over 400 years. The digestive system of a pig back then is no different to how it is now. The purpose of the pig back then is no different to its purpose now. Why did God give laws concerning clean and unclean foods? Just to give us a set of rules? Does God just give a set of rules with no beneficial purpose? It is for our health. Why do you think the children of israel lived longer than the people of other nations. The God who created our bodies should know what is best for us so why should he decide in the NT that he should allow us to eat whatever we want.



So what are the rules for the people of the Davidic covenant? How is it different to the rules for those in the mosaic covenant?
