Need help with daydreaming

I find myself daydreaming more and more during the day.What do I do?Most of my daydreams are about being in heaven already with jesus.And imagining all the cool stuff I would be doing there.

That’s a good daydream. Most of my daydreams are about winning belligerent arguments with people, and stupid stuff like that. You’re daydreaming about edifying, holy stuff, so that’s good.

If you are choosing to think these things, all well and good. If they are just floating into your mind, then you need to resist those thoughts. 2 Corinthians 10 is a good chapter to read. Your mind is not the playground for thoughts you don't choose, good or bad. Resist them and choose to think what you want to think.

There's nothing wrong with being heavenly minded. Indeed we should all be looking forward to that glorious hope of life with Christ hereafter.

That's good day dream. But also focus on planting seeds for the kingdom, do good works and all the things that involve producing fruit for the Kingdom.

since title says "need help", does this mean daydreaming is interfering with your work?

does your boss walk in on you daydreaming & not being productive?

Nothing like that.I just find that is all I am thinking about almost.

I noticed this about myself when I was younger and it worried me too, but then I came to realize that I should be a writer. Your amazing imagination is a beautiful gift from God that you also can use to put yourself in other peoples shoes and sympathize with others.
