Need a Meeting

So, I am almost five months sober, and feeling quite goofy. I need a meeting, but got home late tonight and am so tired. I have anemia, and need an iron IV infusion. Zombie describes my body at this point.

I am basically trying to connect in the cyber world with some recovering people for some support.

Very cool that you are almost at 5 months!! Feeling goofy is a feeling I get from time to time. I call it "feeling squirrely". There are a lot of good recovery-specific forums with a decent amount of activity. I will PM them to you.

I am addicted to men... seriously...

but i have been clean for some time now...

i dont know when my clean date should be, though?

is it when i got celibate? that was many, mnay years ago!!!

or maybe it should be the last day I felt any love for a man, which was like 2 months ago? but the moment only last for about 2 seconds, so i dont know if that counts..

anyhow, i go to 12 step meetings to deal with my emotional addictions, which i feel can - usually are, it seems - much worse than other addictions..

I empathize with a need for men, and struggled with the physical relationship addiction myself. I know when I regained my celibacy, but only the month, not the specific date. In true addict form, I relapsed with my alcoholism a month after ending that relationship, and I had over six years sober till then.,
