. So basically you’re saying that Adam and Eve had syndactly. In order for fingers and toes to form from the pad that forms the hand and feet the cells between the fingers had to die off. Here's the problem with "theistic evolution" (or even just evolution in general as it applies to Genesis.
In order to have evolution, there has to be death; because (you know only the fittest survive).
If there was no death until there was sin; this makes evolution impossible according to Scripture.
Now, there is "adaptation to environment". That though was inherent in the genome of every "kind" made, not one "kind" changing to another.
I believe all of Genesis, the whole book, as actual events (and visions, about real events), with of course things we are told, and things we are not told. Fit instance, we are not told how long passed in mere time, which would never affect God, during verse 1 before the moment in verse 2. But we are told something key about our home here, 7 times. Praise be to God.I agree with this.. But, my argument is "How can trust in scripture in one part of the bible, to save your soul, and deny the solid truth of another part based on the assumptions of men?
If anything, the gospel and the life of Christ, has more supernatural events and miracles than any other scripture. We trust in it for our eternal life and quibble over the six literal days as if God somehow didn't mean what he said there.
Science could more easily deny the things Jesus did... outright.
Ha, ha, ha, that one makes me laugh, LOL, thanks sister, I like it much better when I behave too... Sorry about when I don't behave so well sometimes...Everyone, Please leave NEO alone so he will come back and post. I like his posts when he behaves.

Ok, so how do you or how does one reconcile millions of years with the world being made in six days or six thousand years, if one does, or for those that do, how do you reconcile them...?
But there is... Or one has to wrong over the other...? And are you saying that all the science is wrong then...?If you have a tea pot you bought at an antique store; it's either 50 years old, 100 years old or 500 years old. It's either of one or it's of the other. It can't be both. There's nothing to "reconcile".
He could have been out there for millions or billions also...?Why can't God have been out there for thousands of years before he decided to create earth?
Why not millions or billions...?Why can't God be hanging around for thousands before he decided to create Earth?
Its your turn righter, we are waiting![]()
die as in stop respiring, stop DNA and cellular repair and decay away , you know, Cell death , the same death all life suffers even when most of the organism stays alive. Even with normal skin the outer layer is dead . I always thought that story of death appearing after Adam and Eve’s disobedience was a little silly when thought of as a literal history . But then I think that whole story is fanciful when taken literally anyway .First off; Adam and Eve were created by God as fully formed adults.
Secondly; define "die". If something once "alive" is reabsorbed by the organism it's attached to, or one that consumes it; is that really "death" as is defined in Genesis "they day you eat of it you shall surely die"? Adam and Eve (as well as all the other animals) consumed plant material. Although it's true that what was consumed was no longer there; does that constitute "death" as is defined in that verse in Genesis because it is now part of another organism? What about the waste cellular life processes produce? Assuming animals on an earth that had no death still peed and pooped. (I don't see any reason why they wouldn't have.)
Your question here though does raise a valid point over what is considered "death".
The only answer that I have is that I don’t bother to try to reconcile the two. The Bible has been edited . Nature can’t be edited and doesn’t lie. I know which one I’ll accept as factual and I don’t worry about it either . That, in fact, is the biggest question I have about this whole so called debate. Why do you creationists even bother?Ha, ha, ha, that one makes me laugh, LOL, thanks sister, I like it much better when I behave too... Sorry about when I don't behave so well sometimes...
