CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The behavior itself is fundamentally guided by the Pain-pleasure Principle. It is the rule by which we choose to behave as such. It is the seeking of pleasure and avoidance of pain that all creatures act out.
I bet there are cases where people do it out of spite or something... but, those are individual instances.. haha!

When I was a small child I used to stroll around in public naked. Thought it was the most natural thing in the world. These days I don't. Not because I think it is now unnatural, I just think (with very good reason) that I'll get arrested. It seems people don't need the "it is not natural" argument to make certain behaviours unacceptable.

Nature is both referred to in good and bad terms.
It is human nature to want revenge, to be lazy and not want to work.
It is also human nature to seek out others, form alliances and friendships, etc.
When someone claims what is "unnatural", usually referring to homosexuality, they are ignoring nature, where sometimes, people are born with both sexes (regardless of it not being in the bible), of bisexuality, of asexuality, and all of the varieties that exist.
It basically states "it's different from me and therefore, wrong."
I'm right handed. Why do people choose to be left handed and live a left handed lifestyle? It's just not natural.

I think that any prescriptive, valuating, ethical or moral argument that operates with "...because it´s (un)natural" is either based on an equivocation or downright circular. It can be ignored, unless you are into sophistry.
What do you think?
What I find particularly ironic is when the same people who go to great length about the "sinfulness of human nature" (and the need to strive to resist this nature) use "natural" as a positive criterium in other instances.

The digestive tract of most mammals is usually not part of the sexual functions. Are they? I mean, maybe I have outdated biology and zoology books.

Not sure about the digestive system but I know a mammal (neighbour's dog) that thinks legs have some sexual function. Maybe we shouldn't be looking at other mammals for guidance on sexual matters.

Nibbling (a personal favorite of mine)
Oral sex
So, yeah the digestive tract certainly is involved in sexual functions
