Great idea! You've just helped me out on Christmas ornaments! :D  How about printing icons from the net, cutting them out and putting them on those pre-made ornaments? Could that work?

That might be better because the paper will be easier to manipulate. Anything you can do with regular paper you can do with that. You could paper-mache onto a pre-made ornament like a ceramic/glass/plastic ball. A couple years ago my nephews made votive holders by tearing colored tissue paper and laminating it onto the outside of a glass candle holder with glitter glue.

Ooooo - Nativity Icon votive holders! I may have just found this years grandparent gift...

Awesome! :)

It should. :) I remember decoupaging printed paper icons on styrofoam/pre-made ornaments. My parents actually still have mine from back in the day. :p
 Awesome. It's off to Michael's I go in the next day or so. I already looked through their ornament decorating area the last time I was there. :D

Woowee!! Just finished (about 15 minutes ago), my last project for the kiddies! I got all three of them done today! So, for the three weeks, we've got: This upcoming Sunday, learning about St. Nicholas and making and decorating Christmas ornaments. Then the following two Sundays before Christmas will be dedicated to making their nativity scenes! CAN'T WAIT! I sent out an email to have the other two classes join mine. I will be running to Michael's again tomorrow for a few more of these items just in case most of the children from the other classes decide they want to join it!! :D

I've been looking around for something to make that involves the Nativity scene. I've looked online, and I'm going to check a Christian store today. I also checked Michael's a week or so ago, but all they had for Christmas stuff was the secular crud like snowmen and reindeer stuff. Anybody have any ideas? It would help much for my church school class. Thanks!

I did not know I sold Christmas stuff???!!!
