The hand might look like an X-ray from the doctor's office, but it is actually a cloud of material ejected from a star that exploded. NASA's NuSTAR spacecraft has imaged the structure in high-energy X-rays for the first time, shown in blue. Lower-energy X-ray light previously detected by NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory is shown in green and red.

Interesting, could be a sign.

1 Kings 18:41-44

King James Version (KJV)

41 And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.
42 So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees,
43 And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times.
44 And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down that the rain stop thee not.

There is another picture of the same sort, looks like the typical frontal view of an eye, cornea, iris and pupil.

Not a surprise, it is called "Eye of God". It is just a bit cooler in my mind than the hand.

Both are caused by natural phenomenon - in other words, the laws and processes instituted by God in the Creation. It probably sounds corny, but I think of these 'images' as sort of postcards from God.
