For the person who said all 3 main characters will make it and become chunins
you better keep watching, naruto is looks like a bunch of other animes, but is revolutionary in story telling. im not even sure if the tournament finishes something huge might occur, gaara ::cough::
and shikimaru isnt weak, hes a brilliant strategist, and has never lost in japanese chess once... now what were they saying about the attributes of a chuunin? hint hint
