Sorry, but I'm not from Norway, my great grandfather brought the whole family over, and my grandmother's family did the same thing. I've never been, but would love to visit some day.

Anyhow, where would you like to go next?

Oh I forgot to mention that one thing I liked when I visited Germany: no speed limit. That was fantastic. I wish it was the same here in the States. I think I heard that in some states in the US there is no speed limit. I'm not sure if it's right. Anyway, unfortunately here in MD it's 55 mph and it's far too slow for me! I always say I missed my career. I should have been in the car racing business, not the rat racing one!

Well, in the states, I'd love to go and see the major landmarks, historical or physical. As for the rest of the world, I don't know. I'm not too keen on going in places where my safety will be in jeopardy like the Middle East, Africa, ....

Me too, my dad raced cars at one time. I would love to visit the Autobahn, but I heard that Americans go and cause accidents there cuz we go and try to drive as fast as we can, but don't know the roads or culture of the driving.

Good Point, but if safety weren't an issue, I'd like to go to Isreal, and also England.

So if you've been all over (and it's not personal), how did you end up in Maryland?

Well, I've been in many places when I lived in France. Then when I came to visit the states I met a guy, fell in love and got married. He lived in Maryland so that is how I got "stuck" there! Now, being divorced from him, I'm thinking that I should have broken my leg just before meeting him. It would have been less painful! But then I would not have had the wonderful children I have now!

All is well now and as I have a job in DC that helps me to take care of my kids by myself, it would be silly to move from Maryland. I'll probably move when my kids leave home or if I get married again. Which ever comes first!

What did you do for Christmas?

A lady at church invited me for Christmas. I spend the day with her family and had a good time. The food was good, especially the desserts!!!! We ended the day playing cards. It's was great!

I didn't have my son, so that was a bummer. My brother and his family, and sister and family all went to my parents to open presents Christmas AM, then after my brother had to leave, so we we hung out and played games, ate a big Christmas lunch and it was really good (my mom isn't known for her cooking, so it was amazingly good). Then watched a little TV, talked and then everyone went home.

My favorite book is the Bible. I like other books (mostly spiritual books) but none are my favorite.

One of my favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11. It's good to know He has good plans for our lives and that He is in control.

For board games, my kids love to play Monopoly, but it can take quite a long time to finish the game and if my younger son (10) start to lose then he asks me to loan him money or be lenient and if I decide to abide by the rules then he gets frustrated and quits. He doesn't care what his other brother thinks about "bending" the rules. LOL

I prefer to play Taboo, Pictionary, Battleship, Clue, Aggrevation, Chinese checkers, Sorry, Mastermind, Stratego and many others.

All these games are a lot of fun.

Mastermind, Stratego, Aggrevation... I haven't played those in years.

As far as board games, he likes chinese checkers and sorry. He also loves playing xbox and soccer in my general terms, and also going to the driving range and hitting golf balls. Interesting that we don't really play too many card games together, but he likes Uno too.

Me too. I was thinking about that the last few days, and I've let circumstances and a few decisions on my part, rob me of joy in my life (not to say I'm not happy), so I want to let him feel me with his love more.

I enjoy being alone actually. I can watch movies that my son doesn't like, like LOTR and Star Wars.

I've used Zicam and it works pretty well for me. If you consider getting it, I've heard not to get the nose spray, some people have had negative reactions to it, and naturally, drink more water. Tomato Soap too, Chicken Noodle is good for preventing colds and the flu, but Tomato is better when you get it. Read that in Mens Health.

Do you have a big thing planned for New Years Day (I meant)? Like we get together as a family and watch football and play cards. I like to start the new years as a family.

I remembered that you were from France, and it occured to me, I've never met anyone who was a Christian that was from France before. I thought that was interesting, and I used to go to a church that was fairly international: Brits, Aussies, Scots, Indian, many western and eastern europeans actually, African, etc.

Well, I bet you're happy that your kids come home. I know I hate dropping my son off at his moms.

My favorite team is the Seattle Seahawks. I actually hope that the Gaints are able to pull off the upset. All the pro teams play on sunday, except the Patriots vs. the Giants on Saturday so everyone can see the pats for the the record.
