How so?

Both of you are trying to use things that you don't understand, and as a result of not understanding, you can't get them to do what you want them to and you end up making a mess.
Don't try to glue together a broken cup. Your pigeon tale didn't fly.

God is... interesting.

If He allowed a heralded angel with incredible wisdom and power to tempt us out of perfection and dominion, it is very possible He would allow evil to time travel in spite of Him. That, plus the Russian, American, Chinese and German military have the technology to go back and forth in time.
Ha.

How do you know that these militaries can time travel?? Very hard to believe, in fact, I don't.

God's word allows you to do exploits without a price. Magick, and the manipulation of nature always comes with a price. Unfortunately people don't realize this until their self-forged demise.
So what price does the supposed time travel have for the wicked nations you claim can do it?

As usual from you, unsupported claims.

I'm growing weary of your lack of support, dad.
I am growing weary of you growing weary. The claim was that your attempted parable of the pigeon that was supposed to be undefeated, but thought it was involved in a chess game, or some such foolishness was not a strong analogy. Are you hyper sensitive?

Given that you never explained why it was a poor analogy and yet I explained how the analogy did apply, I fail to see what right you have to be so grumpy about it.

That is a tacit admission that you are super sensitive I guess.

Ha.

How do you know that these militaries can time travel?? Very hard to believe, in fact, I don't.

If I was suicidal I would tell you. As long as one can supply plausible denial it has it isn't an issue.

If I were to whistleblow, I would be dead before I send the message, or release the files.

So what price does the supposed time travel have for the wicked nations you claim can do it?

The main price is the inability to avoid the inevitable. That umbrellas things like death of a family member, strategic foresight and advantage despite the futility of its execution, reviving and building kingdoms that will categorically collapse, pain, suffering, and so on.

When you manipulate nature in an unnatural way, you have to pay. Bit, that doesn't stop people from doing it.

Not sure what that has to do with God in believers being greater than Satan in the world, and how He promised that we would not be defeated.
So undefeated by satan, yet oft defeated in debate. You might want to clarify in your user title, because right now it looks like a fantasy about always winning debates.

Nope. No one has proven any state of the past with evidence or science. On the creation issues, nothing else matters! On issues of faith, I am standing on a rock, and you guys don't even get my toe wet!

Perhaps, 'truly, and totally undefeated'?

You watch a lot of movies? So what would happen, the men in black would time travel to when you were posting and zap you? You seem to indicate you know something. I really do not believe that the military folks could go back in time, and shoot Paul. Sorry. Give us a break.

You seem to be saying that they have convinced you they can really time travel, but that it really doesn't work for beans anyhow. Why would they kill you even if that was true!?

I can't agree that man can manipulate any nature but some bits of this temporal one we live in. I also know there are strict limits to even that. Relax. God is in control.

That verse, whatever you think it means, hardly replaces your need to solidly evidence the state of the past claimed by science. The results of such scientific claims are that they are false prophets, and have chosen to omit God from all their little 'knowledge'. They credit creation not to Christ, but to some unknown cosmic fluke festival.

You see, when leaders and nations go out in pride and rebellion against God's spirit they destroy, and get destroyed. When people acknowledge the creator and Christ and His words as true, they are neither destroyed, nor acting in pride.

This thread is ... amusing??? A laugh track would help it.

Being fairly new to this board I don't understand the point of this thread? I mean dad, why did you make it? I get the feeling you knew there are a bunch of atheists here who would disagree with you.

I also would like to know why you atheists come to a Christian board? Do you folks have nothing else to do? I really would like answers.

I'm always amazed by the faith atheists have in their beliefs. I mean the ones of which there is no proof at all, and even very little evidence. Time and time travel are examples. You atheists don't seem to realize dad wasn't saying he could really time travel. Curious.

dad is right in that even if time was real, God would never allow puny man to travel through it. This idea also came to me, back in the old days, when I still thought time was a reality, and computers were still the size of 2 rooms. They were so big, and all they could do were some basic calculations. Wowee. Now sure has changed. :D

See ya'all.

Time travel happens all the time. Travel in an aeroplane, for example, and you will find that fractionally less time has elapsed for you than others on the ground. This has been shown experimentally.

The GPS satellites in orbit (travelling at several thousand miles per hour) have to account for this time dilation in their calculations when sending us information. If they didn't, their information about our position would be way off.

Get in a rocket and travel near to the speed of light for, say, a year. You'll come back to Earth to discover than many many years had passed on Earth.

So time travel (into the future at least) is certainly possible. :)
