By your standards he did. Once again you are inconsistent when you make false attacks against others. He put a contract out on Jesus, did he?
What book did you get that from? the NIV?
COSMIC ORIGINS VIDEOSeriously, that man is an idiot. He may not be a liar, but he is a complete fool. If you care to learn his entire series has been refuted:

NevermindI guess? There are a few religions in which people were venerated as gods.
No. I don't understand it, therefore, it's God.I don't understand it, therefore it can't be true.
Well, since you have all understanding, and perfect knowledge of all things, perhaps you would like to expound upon the paradox of God being both transcendent and omnipresent. And, while you are at it, maybe you could give us a run down on the doctrine of the Trinity, without falling into one of the many heresies which surround it.
What is the point of the video? It appears that they accept the Big Bang, but then I jumped around a bit and found them using the failed "odds argument".
Carl Sagan is a convicted liar? You should not rely on convicted liars for your arguments.
Alaska and HawaiiWhat two states comprise the northernmost, southernmost, easternmost, and westernmost states in the U.S.?
No, not actually.First, the prophecy actually says 'young woman', not 'virgin'. Second, if you read the prophecy in context you will see that it is a warning of the imminence of the Assyrian invasion; it is not a prophecy of a miraculous birth more than 700 years in the future. Isaiah 7:10-25 is saying that a young woman is already pregnant, and before her child is old enough to know the difference between right and wrong Judah will be devastated by war, and fertile agricultural land will have reverted to thorns and briars and to pasture for sheep and cattle.
Carl Sagan is a convicted liar?
That may be true of Protestant Christianity, but it is definitely not in Catholicism, although many Catholics are fallen away...Leaving the householder life for to become a full-time spiritual seeker - after adequately providing for the material needs of his wife and child - was not only seen as an honorable and blessed choice in his culture at his time, it still is in many Hindu & Buddhist cultures today.
That's a problem with Christian cultures, because modern Christianity IMO generally emphasizes the immediate family unit and immediate material needs, and not the support system of the far more tightly-knit extended family or such spiritual quests of the former.
Correct, another logical fallacy.No. I don't understand it, therefore, it's God.
Didn't watch the entire video because you're not interested. Got it.What is the point of the video? It appears that they accept the Big Bang, but then I jumped around a bit and found them using the failed "odds argument".
The poster said Carl Sagan's famous 'billlllions and billllions'.Where did you get that from? The person was quoting from Hovind, a convicted liar. It is not illegal to lie about evolution. But the IRS takes a dim view of people lying about their income.
Not really.Correct, another logical fallacy.
Yes, there seems to be more of an acceptance for those who wish to walk the path of a spiritually-focused life, in Catholicism ... I spoke from a Protestant perspective (which I was in for 30 something years). That may be true of Protestant Christianity, but it is definitely not in Catholicism, although many Catholics are fallen away...
Not really.
That is not all that he said. But now you know your error. I assume that you were not trying to lie.The poster said Carl Sagan's famous 'billlllions and billllions'.
Really. That is a classic example of an argument from ignorance. Not really.
Yup.Alaska and Hawaii
