Thanks for the references. To save the effort of your readers, this is how to do referencing in a scholarly manner:

1. Give the source/citation.
2. Provide the URL link to the source if available.
3. Indent the quoted text.
4. Bold the relevant keywords that are important to the point that you are making.
5. Be concise and to the point.

I do this for others who read my posts. It is a standard high-school scholarship. If you practice it, I guarantee it will sharpen your analytical thinking. However, no one is required to do it; I prefer to interact with people who do.

I am not a scholar like you. I am a simple disciple of Jesus Christ. If one needs references and quotations etc from the Creed to know what it says about the Church, then he doesn't belong to the Church. So don't bother.

I don't believe that all Christians belong to the Church as defined in the Nicene Creed. And that Church was our topic. For example, Baptists are Christians, but they do not belong to the Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church.

But anyways, I certainly respect the rules, and let the topic stay ambiguous...

Okay, thank you for clarifying. Saying that another Christian does not belong to your particular denomination, and that you don't want to talk with people outside of your denomination's beliefs is allowed and permitted by the rules.

You would not; I was simply trying to prevent misunderstandings with our staff team so we don't accidently moderate one of your posts because we thought you were calling another member non-Christian when you weren't.
