my struggles - Acountability partner

Hey.

So I have been buried in the web of lies called GAY is ok. I recently after man-years of fighting against it gave in and had homosexual sex.I never enjoyed it and decided after a lot of prayer to admit that I have same gender attractions but that I will live a life of celibacy. Yes a lot of people will shake their heads and think that i am stupid... but the truth is. I never felt comfortable and after two brief failed relationships with guys I really know that this is not what God wants for me. I do believe that God can change my heart and my desires but for the time being I am going to try and be celibate. I need prayer for this new venture in my life. As i live in Korea far from home and I have only recently found
a community of believers. touching yourself and porn has been problem for me for numerous years and I would appreciate if there is a guy or guys out there around my age who perhaps is going through the same problems. we can help each other as accountability partners and prayer partners. To God be the glory.. because He helped me see my sins... good luck to all the other guys out there and girls. Hi. Its so refreshing to hear that you admit your weakness in this area instead of trying to round up a whole host of Enablers and Sympathizers to keep you in bondage . The key to overcoming is to determine HOW and WHERE this same sex attraction came from and why ; could go back to your childhood , be from a missing Dad, an over attentive Mom, or from stimuli that promotes such aberrant lifestyles. If you can pinpoint it then you can move forward to get healing from the past. Also, a good accountability partner is very good as is a group of Christian guys to talk about male issues. Anyway, im quite proud of you and will pray for total recovery. REGARDS.
