My Story

I was recently saved as so many have been. My day came the week of Christmas. What better Christmas present to give to yourself and family. I guess my story is nothing spectacular, but I KNOW my life will change from it. My wife and I have both been getting back into Christ as of late. I had spoken with one of the Pastor's at my church on a Monday night, the next day I was at work and had a voice inside me kept telling me to call him. It was a feeling I had never had before. So I did, and at first I couldn't reach him, so the voice was stronger and stronger until I reached him. Finally I did, and two days later I was saved. Glory to god for that!!! I am in the process of getting Baptized and joining a church. It felt like a weight had been lifted from my shoulders. The days seemed brighter, the air was fresher, and I had an inner Peace that I never felt before. Like I said, my story is nothing fancy or spectacular. Other than the fact that I know for sure if I were to die, I would wake up next to the Lord.
That's why I searched the web and found a forum that I might share and possibly help others in their decision. Thanks to all on this forum and those who run this forum!
Now my goal is clear to better myself and raise my children in the Lord. That they won't make the mistakes I've made in life. They can be fresh, be protected and ready for the evil that is ahead of them.
Thanks again. Not only to those here, but to the many people who over the years that have prayed for me. And to the man who saved me and the one who died for me. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Thank you all for listening or maybe I should say reading.

And the heavenly hosts rejoiced when they saw your name added to the Lamb's Books of Life. I too rejoice at having another brother in Christ! I think this was a wonderful testimony, I'm not sure most people have what we would call a "great story" about their salvation. You know what though, your story is just as amazing as any other to Christ. I don't think it's how it happened that brings joy but the simple fact that it did happen and praise God for it! Thanks so much for sharing and may God bless you richly in your new found life.

Incedentally, I haven't been here on CF for very long either but you will find that there are some people who are filled to the brim with the Holy Spirit. I always enjoy my time here and have met some wonderful people!
