Just another example of science mislabeling something, then quietly truncating it and thinking we won't notice.

I'll say this though, I am surprised that one of science's most embarrassing mislabels, the "flying" squirrel, is still called "the flying squirrel."

They shot Pluto down faster than an honest vote; but the Glaucomys volans lives on.
