Scientists didn't test ESP from Apollo 14?
What was the hypothesis and was what was the design to test it? Perhaps it wasn't tested because it didn't any merit for a scientific institute or organization to spend money to test it.

A quick search showed that Mitchel conducted the experiment unbeknownst to anyone else. He apparently got some interesting results and in 1972, he retired to start the Institute of Noetic Sciences in Northern California. The idea, he explained, was to merge spirituality with science.

I couldn't find any published studies. Only, since 2009, the Institute has published a semi-annual bulletin, The Noetic Post. From 2003 to 2009, it published a quarterly magazine, Shift: At the Frontiers of Consciousness.

I am not against science and spirituality working together. I had a supervisor in grad school who actively worked with African shamans and in her retirement she opened a clinic in Nairobi using both modern psychotherapy along African traditional healing.

Evidently academia doesn't like being challenged from the religious.

After all, it's their job to test us, then grade us, based on the information THEY supply us.
What I'm seeing here is that it's the religious who are trying to challenge science with a bunch of nothings..(pun intended)

NOTHING is a good place to start.

Then God used a series of miracles and spoke to NOTHING, ordering it to bring forth the universe over a six-day period.

Ain't that something!?

Yummy!

No trees nor cows were harmed in the production of this picture.

.. and yet; trees, cows, milk, and butter are apparently excluded from your universe (created for the purpose of polling an audience).

I didn't include LGBTQIA+ either.

Don't judge me. I was born this way.

The universe seems like a pretty pliable one. How does that effect the numbers in the poll?

I'm completely satisfied with the poll results. I even respect the views of the minority, who didn't rule out the possibility of alternate universes, even though I disagree with that way of thinking.

@HARK! said somewhere back in this thread(?) that the universe included everything (IIRC), .. now it appears there may be some exceptions(?)

What would those exceptions appear to be?

Can you sing and perform that as well as Lady Gaga (including looking as good in the stage costume)? :)

Noted and appreciated.
Also nice to know that satisfaction was evidently another purpose, too(?)

Well I was a little off the mark in what I said there (re: my underline) .. apologies .. but that doesn't alter that there's apparently always been exceptions .. ie: that which is 'less than', and excludes, an apple butter sandwich(?):

Apparently you are misunderstanding what I said. The sum of the sandwich, and that which is less than the sandwich, is still greater than the sandwich.

That's not how we communicate. You don't give me me a list of options for what you mean.

You tell me what you mean

The context of how the word was used in the OP was readily apparent for most. However, by now it should be crystal clear that the words "create" and "make" are synonymous.

There are uncountable things less than the sandwich, but that is beside the point.
The point is that you just described your model, (or what you mean by), 'greater than the sandwich', (or your model of the universe).
Can you see how you just created the universe, by giving it (yet another) meaning?

(On second thoughts, I think I'll dip out of this tiresome discussion and move on .. thanks for the ride. Cheers)
