1. Explain why that would not be an example of embedded age.

2. How old would the rock be:

• physically
• existentially

Physically it would probably be just like any other rock, I dont know. Existentially...well, that kind the rock exists purely because the sheer will of you know who lets it come into existence. Now you do know who's sheer will can make or let a rock come into existence right ?

Yes, but embedded agers prefer to deal with appearances as opposed to reality, because appearances are easier to manipulate -- reality is quite stubborn.

Existentially means pertaining to existence, ergo the rock is as old as the length of time it has existed, which is the same as its physical age.

In answer to your questions:
1) Because there's no such thing as embedded age.

2) You never told us how old it was.

Looking and acting like it radiodates to 10,000 years is the same thing as radiodating to 10,000 years.

That the radiodating doesn't give us an accurate measure of its age is another matter.
