Can you give an example of where God is not being straight up? If He only took 6 days to create everything in the heavens and the earth, then He told us He did it in 6 days, how is that not truthful?
Because His own Creation is telling us of a 4 Billion year old Earth. It seems to me that what God directly created with His own hands and what it is showing us is way more straight up than an ancient text.

God creates a loaf of nice warm raisin bread in an instant.

Is that an act of deception, since:
  1. it's warm
  2. it has dried grapes
Note: This challenge is my second favorite challenge I've ever made here.

Like my Apple Challenge, which shows an act of creatio ex materia leaves no evidence behind; this challenge shows how an act of creation with embedded age (maturity without history) can't be considered deceptive.
That's how we can be sure that the universe was created thirty seconds ago. You've proven it.

No it's not.

That's because you believe more recent texts over the ancient ones, not because creation is telling you something.

To quote from a famous movie:

I'm more interested in the Rock of Ages, than I am the age of rocks.

this challenge shows how an act of creation with embedded age (maturity without history) can't be considered deceptive.
This challenge also shows that the biblical story of creation has no more merit than "Last Thursdayism".

Because the raisin bread is confusing you?
Maybe it's that dang Nazarite vow that I took over forty-five years ago that's throwing me off, but I'm really not getting any profound insight from your raisin bread. Just a strong feeling of Last Thursdayism.

Oh, my.

When Jesus fed the 5000, was that an act of Last Thursdayism?

That's the thing about your version of history, you can never tell what's real and what's not. What happened a billion years ago, or six thousand years ago, or last Thursday. What I do know is that faith has led a whole lot of sincere people to believe a whole lot of seemingly irrational things, and you and I are just as prone to that deception as they were. So while faith is a good thing, a little humility doesn't hurt either. There's nothing wrong with searching for the truth, nor in sharing what you've found, but in forgetting your human propensity to be wrong, that's where faith becomes hubris, and a humble servant becomes a noisy gong.

Yes then God wrote a book telling everyone He made the raisin bread from nothing 6 minutes ago and it took 6 seconds to make it and people call Him a liar because the grapes should’ve taken years to grow and the grain to make the bread should’ve taken months to grow so because of this they say He’s trying to deceive people by making the ingredients appear to be older than they actually are even tho He told them the truth from the very beginning, they just didn’t believe Him.
This challenge does not include God telling anyone he instantaneously created the raisin bread. You added that.

He also told us how long the earth has been in existence.
Yes, that's what I was referring to. The exact numbers are not that easy to come by, but we can get a decent idea. Some rocks are younger than the earth, because they can be made in numerous ways, like vulcanism or petrification, that have happened throughout earth history.
