That verse is rather interesting, as here in Luke 21:31 Jesus says the Kingdom of God is nigh when they are seeing "these things".

Luke 21:31 "Thus also ye, whenever ye may be seeing these-things becoming, ye are knowing that nigh is the Kingdom of the God."
