My prayers dont work, but yours do

Seems I'm feeling much better due not to anything I tried with prayer, but with medication and apparently YOUR prayers. Maybe God works through anti-depressants too, because as He is the God of the Universe and all things, I feel that scraping myself off the floor is like some kind of miracle.

My brain didn't work, and I needed meds, just like people need insulin for diabetes.

NO matter how I tried, I could not help myself, even with praying and crying out to God.

I've been trying to use all the tools I can find to get well.

Thank you for prayers for anyone who saw my prayer wall request from being under satanic attack.

Sister, God loves you, your prayers are very much desired by Him so don't give up and continue in your good works. Pray every day as we all ought to and surround yourself with uplifting things like a good praise music when you are down in spirit. Crying helps, too. Sister, may Holy Father give you peace and ease of mind, may He comfort you in your moments of sadness and despair and be cheerful, sister in Jesus name i pray for you. Amen.

Thank you for getting back, awesome news ! A suggestion: work on your relationship with Jesus Christ and you may find your own prayers will strengthen. And you may find you can get off those meds in due time.

He made all things, like penicillin and insulin, right? These heal people from certain death. My medication has done the same for me.

Has not god given mankind their medical knowledge? My surgeon and his team saved my life when I was very heavily bleeding out and when I stopped breathing. They also used lots of anesthesia and replaced my blood loss etc., so is this not wisdom from the God who made all things?

Why is depression not also neurological like other brain disorders such as Parkinson's?

I most definitely feel better, but not totally, but right this moment it is a miracle.

Yes, sister medications do help and so does prayer. I am an asthmatic. A few years ago i had an attack that brought me to the brink of my ability to remain conscious. It was a summer, climate was hot and humid and i was grasping for air. I overdosed on inhaler to the point that my chest started to hurt, but that didn't help and slowly i began feeling slipping in my consciousness. I felt like i was on the edge and if a sudden bump would occur it would be the end of me. Mind you at that time i wasn't that close to Jesus, i knew about him but preferred going my own merry way. Well at that time i started to pray and i asked Jesus to help me as nothing else could (meds weren't working). Almost immediately i felt as a weight would be lifted from my chest and i could breathe! Praise Jesus He saved me that day! Since then i haven't had any attacks and my inhaler is gathering dust.

I will pray for you sister that you may get well.
