When I was a kid, I loved swinging on the swing set (the Rapture)?

Later, I grew up to be a Creationist.

Here's my challenge:

1. How many of you played on the swings, and now you're a creationist?

2. How many of you played on the monkey bars, and now you're an evolutionist?

3. How many of you played on the teeter-totter, and now you're both?

I still like the swing set, but I don't believe in the rapture.

Oh wait, I didn't answer the questions.

1) Yes.

2) Depends on what evolution you mean, but the Monkey bars were pretty cool back in the day,

3) No to the teeter totter.

What on earth does this have to do with the topic of this forum?

1.) I would swing, but I'd also do dangerous jumps out of the swing so I could 'fly' for a split second ... it was usually awesome. Usually.

2.) I swung monkey bars until I hit my chin. And that was the last of my monkeying around.

3.) The teeter-totter seemed to remain as a mainstay for me: it was usually safe fun, unless my partner jumped off while I was still in the air. :sorry:

I liked the swings. I didn't get much time on the teeter-totter, because it requires a second person. I loved the monkey bars. We had our own set at home.

Now, I guess it depends on what you mean by "evolutionist". If you're just talking about biological evolution, yeah, I think that's a reasonable theory. So. Evolution. Monkey bars. It's the missing link!

What on earth does playground equipment have to do with beliefs about science and religion? Do you think that they are related?
