Men who study or research at least one of the various scientific disciplines?

It would be like looking at a man through translucent glass and seeing his form, but not anything specific.

Yes ... but more than that.

Those who cling to the scientific method as their standard of determining reality.

They don't necessarily have to be professional scientists.

I've seen people accuse us of being ignorant, and they:

1. use poor English and grammar
   
2. don't pay attention to time stamps
3. don't correct their quote tags
4. don't proofread their posts
5. don't research a person's claims through Wikipedia or Google

And yes, I'm guilty of the above as well.

I salute your dad, but I personally was never in Vietnam.

I served my time on the island of Guam from January 1973 - May 1976 as a Radioman.

My dad got lucky I think...he doesn't speak about it ever but I think he got in late and didn't see too much combat from what I can gather.

Service is service though...and every horse counts in a war. Doesn't matter if it's charging from the front or pulling from the rear.

That actually happened with a well-known evangelist, who smashed his thumb working on a roof and went to the ER room.

He ended up in the psychiatric ward for a week until his wife got a Christian psychologist to override the ER doctor's orders.
