Will there be any animals in Hell?

If we exclude the animal human which god has special plans for and talk about animals like tape worms, mosquito,
ticks, fleas, sand flies, tsetse flies, flagellates etc and takes the Christian mythology as given, then God created all these animal in the garden for Adam and Eve to enjoy at the fullest. Then, if we first treat the subject of Heaven, then I see no reason why all these animal wont be in Heaven as well. Whether god will makes brand new small animals soul in Heaven or decide to send all the dead animals souls to Heaven I do not know - maybe God does both because in a world full of magic anything is possible!

Now, in light of this, if we consider the warmer alternative. This place has a special meaning for humans which I don't recon God has for the small animals souls such as mosquito, ticks, sand flies, fleas, tsetse flies, flagellates. It is therefore doubtful whether God wills send any animals to such nasty place. After all they did not create the mess. But perhaps God does it anyway because in a world full of magic anything is possible!

Now to the question of "will my pet join me in Hell" which I assume will follow. The answer to that is; it depends on. Do you plan to go to there? If you plan to do so, then you wont see your pet. Not because God does not want or can send your pet to Hell, but because it is supposed to be a bad place for you - not your pet. Therefore you wont see your pet there. Secondly, if you want to see your pet again, you better make sure to go to Heaven when you die, then at least you have a sporty chance to see your bellowed pet again. But what really happens, God only know, I mean your guess is as good as mine because in a world full of magic anything is possible!

where in my post you quoted did I say God is an animal.

If human are animals then it say so in the bible: and God created man in his image...

I know some Christians take offense in this, but I don't see why. If all of the creation is Gods work then all of the creation is part of Him - even the animals.

Is god's image something you can see?
We don't have to see Him with our eyes.

He knows what He looks like, and he said He made us in His image.

What if an Oak said to a Maple, "We are made in the image & likeness of THE TREE."

Does the Maple need to know what THE TREE looks like in order to be satisfied?

Jesus said,

John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

That was good enough for Philip.

How do you think scientists would answer Jesus' question today?

So what is meant by man is made in the image of god?

It's not saying that man and god appear similar?
As I understand it, 'in the image of' is a turn of phrase suggesting certain important similarities, rather than anything explicitly visual. In my experience, quite what those similarities are tends to be somewhat vague...

(I don't acknowledge a hell, so I must personally say 'no' since there is no hell to send them to. But in a world of magic...)
Is that how you define "magic"?

magic, n.
Anything In situ doesn't acknowledge.
contrast, reality

I don't think scientists would be "answering Jesus's questions" anymore than they would be trying to solve the riddle of the sphinx.

So god looks like a regular person?

That actually makes some sense...

...it at least explains why an answer to my question is so difficult to come by.

Like father, like son...
How do you think scientists would answer Jesus' question today?
A medical scientist would probably diagnose incipient grandiose delusional disorder, and offer therapy.

Oh, I'm sure they would come up with a few choice questions for Him.

Don't bring Him down.

One thing I think is interesting, is that Nebuchadnezzar, looking in on Daniel's three friends in the furnace, made the statement:

Daniel 3:25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

I wonder what he meant by that?

And if Nebuchadnezzar, a wicked polytheist, can acknowledge Jesus among his belief in other gods; how is it scientists always compare Jesus to other gods in an effort to dilute our belief in Him?

I'm starting to seriously consider that maybe you don't know the answer. That's probably a little awkward for you, right? I ask if god looks like man because the bible says we're "made in his image"....and you're just not sure.

If that's the case...just say so AV. I'm not going to chastise you for it.

That actually happened with a well-known evangelist, who smashed his thumb working on a roof and went to the ER room.

He ended up in the psychiatric ward for a week until his wife got a Christian psychologist to override the ER doctor's orders.

I don't know of any scientists that do what you're saying here. I'd be willing to bet that you don't either.

Is that a yes?
That's a "no comment."

It's one of those things that unbelievers can take all over the spectrum; and I don't want to be a part of being accused of saying "God looks like us."

I'd rather be accused of saying we are made in the image & likeness of God.

So you're just repeating it because it's what you believe...but you're not entirely sure what it means.

That's fair AV...I'm not gonna dig into you for it. It's certainly not the first thing I've heard out of the mouths of believers that they couldn't explain.

Change of subject, what does your name stand for? It's not just a random assortment of letters and numbers is it?

I'm starting to seriously consider that maybe you don't know the answer.
It would be like looking at a man through translucent glass and seeing his form, but not anything specific.

As Paul puts it:

1 Corinthians 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
Ana the Ist said:

Not at all.
Ana the Ist said:

More like I'd rather not go there ... knowing what is in the heart of scientists.
Ana the Ist said:

But others will take it the wrong way.

I've already been accused of being Omphalos, Last Thursday, a troll, a supertroll, and just about everything but what's in my profile.

So ... no comment.
