You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Matt Never Existed again.
hehe, I honestly wish I could give all the rep. I have been given here away. I just don't think its a good system.
Nothing I've ever said on these forums is amazing, and worth of recieving reputation. All I've ever tried to tell people goes around one major point.
Love your neighbor as yourself.
Love n. - A
deep, tender, ineffable
feeling of affection and solicitude toward a person, such as that
arising from kinship, recognition of attractive qualities, or a sense of underlying oneness.
Kinship is defined as a connection by blood, marriage, or adoption; a family relationship.
I would never,
ever treat my family like I see some people here treating others. There is such a horrible lack of connection between everyone here. We aren't just strangers passing by eachother. We aren't just random people who just happen to be talking in same forum. We are brothers and sisters, members of the same family, regardless of race, gender, religion or lack-there-of, and sexual orientation.
~sigh~ Ah well, as much as we try to show people this, they will ignore it and focus on something they don't agree with. "Homosexuality is a sin, you're going to hell if you don't change!" "If you don't believe in (insert whatever), then you are going to suffer forever!" "If you don't live like this, then you never really accepted Christ as your savior!" "Love the sinner, hate the sin!"
If Jesus accepted me for who I am, and where I'm at right now, why can't some of his followers do the same?
Jesus knew that some who heard his message were not going to listen or change,
but he still loved them and showed them respect. Its a shame others aren't able to do the same.
~shrug~ Or maybe I'm wrong. I have a tendency to do that sometimes. Ah well...
