.....Unity?.....ehhh, what's that?
It's the same as the old nonsense of being a team player, where no one on the team had any say in what was being played. Simply means comply, or else.

If Trump had stayed on the left and run as a Democrat and pulled the same stunt on Jan 6, I wonder how she would have responded. Storming the national Capitol to contest election results is different from storming a state capitol to protest a bill. Neither are good, the former is worse. But I honestly wonder if she would have responded the same way had it clearly have come from the left.

The Democrats cannot help themselves. They LIVE in a world of hypocrisy. They are the epitome of the ends justify the means.

How often did they tell.us that Trump and Bush were illegitimate presidents. That the election was illegitimate. Then when we do it, suddenly it's the worst thing ever! How dare we.

Did the 'protesters' illegally enter the Wisconsin Capital building? Then they are no longer protesters but criminals. I rest my case......

actually the protesters in Wisconsin only occupied the public spaces of the capital building. After several days the Wisconsin governor threatened to enact an executive order closing the capital to he public and thus making the protesters there illegally. Jim Palmer, the executive director of the Wisconsin Professional Police Association issued a statement urging Governor Walker to keep the Capitol open citing that the protests have been entirely peaceful and no laws have been broken.

So no they didn't enter the capital illegally

If Trump had run as a Democrat and did/said the same sorts of things he did, he wouldn't have gotten elected for one, and for another, even if somehow he did, he would have been impeached and removed from office long before his four years was over.

The "both sides are equally bad" argument is wholesale false.

Yes, the Democrats suck. That's something people who vote Democrat know already. But the difference is that Democrats suck because they want to be the party of status quo moderates and are generally unwilling to push for significant and major change.

The Republicans, on the other hand, have shown themselves to be--with very few exceptions--a party of power hungry sycophants who have absolutely zero principles. They have become the party of postmodern conservatism at best, and the party of Trumpism at worst.

Which is why anyone with a conscience should rightly be troubled by the state of American politics, because both parties suck--but one clearly sucks way more. And so the lesser of two evils is necessitated in order to minimize harm.

So.. will this new idea of Pelosi's of removing most of the opposition from both houses because they pose a threat 'inside the house', finally bring unity to the nation? Did you ever imagine this insanity would overtake the nation? Wow, we thought the Berlin wall falling came out of nowhere. This tops that event.

All of this is wrong, and it's also neither here nor there as to what I was saying about Pelosi.

Which is why anyone with a conscience should rightly be troubled by the state of American politics, because both parties suck--but one clearly sucks way more. And so the lesser of two evils is necessitated in order to minimize harm.
The Republicans are still the lesser of two evils, even with Trump (though thanks to his influence, by less than before). One of the big problems with his extreme supporters is that they fixate on the lesser of the two evils becoming their political savior. And that riles them up to the point of wanting to play dirty. I would call that a Satanic deception.

Flashback: Nancy Pelosi praised unionists storming Wisconsin State Capitol
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has gone on record praising the storming of the Capitol as an "impressive show of democracy in action" -- the 2011 invasion of the Madison, Wis., state capitol, that is.
.....and the hypocrisy just keeps on coming.......Unity?.....ehhh, what's that?
Explain how Wisconsin residents walking into their state Capitol building, legally, equates to the mob that illegally attacked the US Capitol building, assaulted and killing police, in order to steal the Presidential election for Trump.

Confuses me of how all those peaceful looters and burners could be equated to other peaceful people milling about a Mall. Can't place all into one lump
The peaceful protesters, can be equated to peaceful people milling about the Mall. There was no peaceful looters and burners and no one said that there were any.

So a handful of agitators at both protest were seen to be the cause. Recent info if reliable seems to be showing that agitators at both incidents were not partisan but an outside group against both parties. Who knows what benefit this is to either party but they seem to be using the agitators' actions to suit their own political purposes rather than seeing them as any threat to all. There seems to be something deeper going on here that rises above the usual political bantering. Of course the media so wrapped up in it's political affiliations aren't bothering to look at this angle of subversion against both parties ( if that is what it is and not just a ruse to cast off suspicion against the left)
