It’s only logic that the human soul constantly searches for fulfillment,people search for fulfillment in all the wrong places;unbelief,other beliefs,sex,alcohol,drugs,gambling,parties, etc.But what do they all have in common,they last only a bit and leave the soul searching again for fulfillment,A eternal hope and peace comes from Jesus who,although never promises a easy life,he promises to stay with us Christians and love us endlessly.(Matthew 28:20,1 John 4:18,Romans 5:8,John 14:21) You can say I am having a “No true Scotsman” attitude,but in truth(from love) the reason you’re so against it is because you’re spiritually Blind.
