Green technology has actually led to economic growth. We don't need to bring back coal.

And by the way, who gives us the technology to ruin it?

No one is asking you to give up everything you own and go live in the woods. Just take a few common sense steps - recycle, don't leave lights on when you're not using them, avoid buying products that aren't environmentally friendly (of course you can't avoid this completely but do your best), compost, use energy efficient lightbulbs and appliances (which also last longer, so it's win-win), etc. That's what I do.

That HEALTHY CHILDREN on that list is a bit hypocritical, don't you think?
