Like the science deniers of embryology?

If you want to discuss the science of embryos you are free to start a new thread.

Denying any established science is ignorance and worthy of scorn.

Then you are being callous and irresponsible. We are stewards of God's creation.
If I thought we were responsible for it, I might alarm myself.

But I'm not going to repent every time some tree hugger flashes SAVE THE WHALES at me.

Why would anyone be against protecting the environment? Reminds me of this:

Why would anyone be against protecting the environment?
Because it can get expensive?

And by the way, who gives us the technology to ruin it?

They build 90 million cars, then tell us to take the bus.

They build 90 million cars, then tell us to car pool.

This post of mine from last year bears repeating:

Don't harp to me about anthropogenic climate change if you:
  1. drive a gas-powered car
  2. have a cement patio
  3. have glass windows
  4. have a barbecue grill
  5. have a fireplace
  6. drink pop
  7. use a CO2 extinguisher
You guys who harp on us about using a computer to deny science: walk your own talk.

Green technology has actually led to economic growth. We don't need to bring back coal.

And by the way, who gives us the technology to ruin it?

Who is "they"?

No one is asking you to give up everything you own and go live in the woods. Just take a few common sense steps - recycle, don't leave lights on when you're not using them, avoid buying products that aren't environmentally friendly (of course you can't avoid this completely but do your best), compost, use energy efficient lightbulbs and appliances (which also last longer, so it's win-win), etc. That's what I do.

That HEALTHY CHILDREN on that list is a bit hypocritical, don't you think?

Not really.

That'll be the day we do that again.

Spent a whole week taking labels off tin cans, plastic caps off jugs, putting glass here, aluminum there, plastic in that bag.

Drove ten miles in my gas-guzzling car with six bags of recycled trash, only to wait in line and watch someone who looked like that's the last place on earth he wanted to be, moan about where to put everything.

I'll tell you who benefitted: Marathon.

You don't have a service to pick up recyclables along with garbage where you live?

As I said, you need green to go green, don't you? ;)

You want to pay my service fees and education for me?

My my, I seem to have struck a nerve.

Nope. Its just fun to watch you use all kinds of emotional language to try to prove a refuted position.

And while you were busy doing that they were cutting down a half million trees to fill our mail boxes with junk mail...

Really? Your nobel prize is a matter of time only you I'm sure.

I await your peer-reviewed article where you refute climate change in your next post then.

The climate is changing all the time, it has been since the beginning. Is that simple enough for YOU? Why did they change the name from "Global warming"?

"The pervasive hype that we are experiencing a known human-caused climate crisis is based upon speculative theories, contrived data and totally unproven modeling predictions. Much of this emanates from politically-corrupted processes and agenda-driven report conclusions rendered by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change which is trumpeted in the media as authoritative gospel."

"On April 10, forty-nine former NASA scientists and astronauts sent a letter to NASA Administrator Charles Bolden, admonishing the agency in general, and GISS under Hansen’s leadership in particular, for its role in advocating a high degree of certainty that man-made CO2 is a major cause of climate change…while neglecting basic empirical evidence that calls that theory into question. The group, which includes seven Apollo astronauts and two former directors of NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, is dismayed over the failure to make an objective assessment of all available scientific data on climate change, charging that NASA is relying too heavily upon complex models that have proven to be scientifically inadequate for climate predictions."
