I don't recall anything about gradual global temperature increase in any of those verses.

But if you want to argue that the actions of humanity that have led to climate change are part of of the increase in iniquity mentioned by Jesus before His return, I suppose you can. However, if you believe that He won't hold any of us accountable for it, you might be in for a rude awakening.

If you're so right, then why aren't there laws against gas-powered cars, cement patios, glass windows, barbecue grills, fireplaces, drinking pop, CO2 extinguishers, and not recycling?

Same reason unhealthy food, carcinogenic products, nuclear power, abortion, private gun ownership, racism, extreme Nazi and Communist speech, and many other (potentially) harmful things aren't outlawed.

Actually Strathos made a good point (theologically speaking). Humans are actively doing stuff to harm the planet, our home and the home of millions of innocent living things.

In Christianity one has to be cognizant of the sin or harm they do in order to know to ask for forgiveness.

Grace is granted freely but it must come after one has accepted that one is fallen and in need of grace.

If Jesus comes back and his followers are actively punching puppies in the head I am guessing that Jesus will ask them to explain themselves.

There will come a time. Just wait. So long as people spread misinformation about the reality of global climate change and keep kicking the can down the road there will come a time when far more draconian actions will be not only necessary but DEMANDED by the people.

Many environmentally destructive items HAVE been outlawed (like CFC's) but some people demand "market forces" take care of it. So those of us who see the train coming and are trying to get off the tracks have to gently ask the people who deny the train's existence to relocate to just over there.

But don't worry, it'll happen. ANd then folks like you will scream bloody blue murder because now you are required by law to recycle and be green. And in the end the reason for it will be because people like you didn't necessarily believe there was a problem so you denigrated efforts to do things voluntarily.

But your monikers are now far more aggressively insulting. You seem to be making use of suffixes that contain words like "moron" or "dope".

That is far more hateful. If one refers to a group using a hateful term then it certainly makes it sound like they hate them. Especially when they do it all the time.

So intelligent design is simply Christianity. That's religion. Your biggest problem then is that you don't have any real objective evidence of the primary factor in your hypothesis.



With the obvious caveat that "chance" and "natural selection" are seen every single day in just about all of nature. (And by "chance" I probably don't mean it as loosely as you do. Stochastic processes exist but there are physical laws which bias certain outcomes.)

I am merely stating that I fail to see any good science coming out of the usual Creationist research facilities like ICR or DI. While I am not a trained biologist the geology and chemistry "research" I see seem to fall pretty short.

I merely wanted the other poster to provide me with an example of good science. It is unlikely that they will be able to do so, nor that they themselves even really read much of it in detail or with a trained eye to differentiate between good and bad.
