My favorite argument for the existence of God

I was leaving from my appointment yesterday, and I told him I debate evolutionists who tell me I'm a hypocrite for coming here, and he laughed and said they accept evolution by faith, just as we accept creation by faith.

Well, he´s a doctor, so he must know everything. He obviously can perform faith healing, so it´s very likely he can read our minds, too.

How'd that happen?

Simple. Compartmental thinking. Monday to Saturday are real world days. One uses science for the good of humanity, just like everybody else. Sunday is religion day. One throws out science, and lives in a world of make believe. Many people have managed that compartmental style of life.

Because success or failure was not determined by how much the doctor knew about evolution.

I mean, do you really think there are situations like, "I need to give this man eye surgery, but I don't know enough about evolution to do it!"

That makes about as much sense as me not being able to play a Beethoven sonata because I don't know enough about plumbing.

Only in situations where knowledge about how life evolved, the age of the world etc are irrelevant.

You can get a Bible just for walking in the door. There are Bible tracts and literature all over the lobby and in each room. And the TV in the lobby has Christian programming.
