So, let me understand this. You are saying that we won't find any evidence. You are also advising us to keep looking.

Why on earth should we keep looking if there's no real hope of finding anything?

Because the only hope you guys have outside of written documentation is the hard evidence itself - (and our prayers to the Holy Spirit). And given the fact that Jesus made this point ---

[bible]Luke 16:31[/bible]

--- and this point ---

[bible]Matthew 7:14[/bible]

I pray to God that you guys will find something that will change your minds before it's too late.

Too late? For what?

what hard evidence, there is none, and the documentation is factually wrong as well
the only way to accept your document is by belief already held, this is a catch-22

too late for what? if you mean the end of days, people have been saying that since the writing of the gospels and revelations
oh look nearly 2000 years :D

I'm still wondering whether AV thinks it's ever justified to believe in things for which there is no evidence, and if so, why.

We get a special blessing ---

[bible]John 20:29[/bible]

If you do not believe in creatio ex nihilo, I challenge you to give me a coherent explanation as to how mass and/or energy first appeared.
Why do you expect a coherent explanation from others for that which your idea doesn´t explain (not even incohenrently) at all?
"They just appeared ex nihilo"
"Self-creation"
"They have existed eternally",
just to name the most obvious would be as good "explanation" as yours.

If special blessings are the way forward, how are you so sure that your special blessing is correct and that mine, or that of the Muslims, is not?

Because Jesus said it.

That doesn't answer my question. How do you know your "special blessing" is correct and that anyone else's isn't?
It doesn't matter who said unless you can tell me how you know they're speaking truthfully and accurately.

How do you know George Washington was our first President?

Forget it, Quatona --- no offense, but after 114 posts, I usually give up.
Firstly, I haven´t written 114 posts to you.
Secondly, my question didn´t aim at your "challenge", but the offer to explain that which you apparently found confusing about my previous post, to tell from the " " you have answered it with.

I color-coded it, Quatona.

I said "If you don't believe in creatio ex nihilo," and you answered "they just appeared ex nihilo."

Do you understand the difference between "creating" and "appearing"?
["Creating", as opposed to "appearing") is a transitive verb - it requires a subject (creator) and an object (creation, creature).]
