Clearly this speaks to man evolving from earlier primates to the point in which God imparted a soul.

Are you trying to say that as Christians we shouldn't accept evolution as viable because it's not biblical? That's kinda the subtext I'm getting from your question, and if that's what you want to hear I have a refutation ready.

It's quite simple. If Adam and Eve got here via evolution then the Bible would not mention evolution. The absence of evolution in the bible is proof that Adam and Eve got here by evolution.

Yes AV, the Bible neither directly supports or denies ToE. We didn't even know about ToE until 150 years ago!

The Bible also doesn't mention Starbucks coffee, Amazonian rainforrests, Rotweilers or Ford's Model T, but we know all of these things exist.

Just because you can use it to support/deny something, doesn't mean it can actually do it on its own.

The Bible is a tool for helping us understand God's plan by showing us how He dealt with those who came before... and like any tool, it can't do much of anything without a competent person weilding it.
