Why not believe and do what GOD's WORD said?
Not to judge anything before the time
(1 Corinthians 4)
There is still time for them to come to their senses, to repent, to pray, to grow in their knowledge of the LORDWhat's the cause of all those people saying the same thing?
There is still time for them to come to their senses, to repent, to pray, to grow in their knowledge of the LORD
Too many want to be teachers and are puffed up by the supposed "knowledge" that they have acquired
Our work was to preach the GOSPEL. Point all to GOD's salvation in by and through HIS SON
That should be sufficient
Bring the sheep to the shepherd so that HE may shepherd HIS FLOCK
But to tell people what is outside THE DOOR, to constantly be discussing what is outside of CHRIST, how is that doing GOD's WORK?
They're still outside
Isn't it better to say CHRIST is THE DOOR and THE REFUGE and that there is no other way by which we can be saved
Isn't it far better to boldly and clearly profess THIS TRUTH?
Do you think they are all deceived?
And how is it more liable to discuss it in forums than in a message? That doesn't make sense either.
What do you mean by that? Bibical methods arent dangerous.
There is no instance in the NT where "exorcism" of a demon results in injury, or death of the individual possessed.
Satan can't resurrect the dead nor does Satan have any power over those who are in CHRIST JESUS
Clearly JESUS can
Clearly you do not believe who HE says HE is
Men can't cast out demons
And they will NEVER declare that they can
Demons don't prefer to advertise their existence. Stan's biggest trick, was convincing the world he doesn't actually exist. That's generally where he likes to keep it. A covert sort of operation.
This being said, there are exceptions when evil makes its' presence known. This most often occurs whenever someone intervenes to rescue someone else who is under some demonic influence. I call it the "Hollywood" effect. It's meant to instill terror.
Things like objects flying off walls, furniture being moved, disembodied voices, cold spots, feelings of suffocation, door slamming, religious relics on walls being turned upside down, people speaking words backwards, or speaking in foreign tongues, private information about yourself being revealed as a method of attack, people falling on the ground experiencing seizures, and of course the slaughter of family pets where all their bones are broken and their heads are grotesquely turned around backwards. I've witnesses all of this and more, and it is quite frightening to the uninitiated !
If you PM me I'll be happy to explain some of biblical methods for "exorcism". Unfortunately, for liability issues, CF rules prohibit the discussion of exorcism methods in open forums, (even those directly described in the Gospel).
Of all the miracles Jesus performed, exorcism was by far one of the most frequent. It's all there, you can read about it for yourself in the NT.
What do you mean liability issues? Are you referring to the law?
That's a clever lawyerly twist on words. I never claimed I was able to cast out a demon by my own power. That's your characterization, not mine.
The man in Mark 9:38, who was casting out demons in the name of Jesus was "forbidden" to do so by the disciples because he refused to follow them, when they reported this to Jesus, he sternly rebuked them, and said, "Forbid him not" ! (Luke 9:37-56).
No one who casts out demons in the name of Christ is doing the work of Satan ! And no one is doing it by his own power either as you suggest.
I do not fear either man, or Satan who can only destroy the body, I fear God who can destroy the soul, (Matthew 10:28).
Isnt exorcism unbibical?
