That's a great idea BJ.
I like...Pieces of Our Heart Afghan...it will be pieced together and each square will be made as a token of the heart.
I got my order in the mail today for the crocheted throw I want to make. I am rather excited. It says Rush Order on the envelope...so let's hope!

I got the kit in the mail yesterday for the throw I'm going to make. The yarn is gorgeous. Very soft and the colours are very rich. I can't wait to get started.

I made several of these dolls when I was in my early 20's. All but this one was sold for the church. This is one I gave my mother. It's made with a very soft yarn which was very popular "back then".

I had forgotten that she had a petticoat.

Yes, the throw is going to be fantastic. I'm actually hoping the weather will stay cool so I can curl up in it when it's done.

I haven't been posting anything here because I just haven't done much crocheting lately.

I did attempts crocheting with plastic bags but I didn't enjoy it at all so quit.

I just started making my first afgan, and i am really excited about it. So far it is turning out great! I am trying to get it finished before my husband comes home from overseas on leave (he's in the army). Anyway i have really enjoyed reading about all of your projects.

I want to get the ladies of my church who crochet to make a granny square and give it to me. I will stictch each square together to make an afghan. The afghan will then be auctioned as a fund raiser. I'd like to have a warm and friendly name for the afghan. I've thought of:
Heart of Family Afghan
Pieces of Our Heart Afghan

What do you all think? Or do you have a suggestion?

I really enjoyed the dolls when I did them but I don't think I'd enjoy it now.

There are lots of great patterns available for doll clothes.

Oh, I've considered making removable pillow covers - just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I'm so excited about my new project! I'm working on afghan to give my friend as a baby shower gift. I'd like to post a pic of it but my son has been using the camera and I don't know where it is. It's called "Fresh as a Daisy".
