My back surgery

Eh. So... Monday I'm going to be having back surgery. I've never had surgery and I'm not really sure what to expect. They said it'll be from 7:30 AM until late afternoon. I just had to watch a program on people waking up during surgery and not being able to move. I'm just nervous about the whole thing and kind of afraid. I already have a problem with passing out and getting sick when going to hospitals so I can't even imagine how I'll be Monday morning.

I hate asking for prayer, but I'm just afraid and want everything to go well.

I can't even begin to tell you that I really understand your fear... i've seen those programs too so I can empathize. I can assure you however that the Lord didn't give us a spirit of fear so he wants us to put that aside and shout out His name. Don't worry ok? God has got you. Call on Jesus, and ask Him for strength and faith. I'm praying with you


Lord I ask that you comfort her at this time. Please guide the surgeon and the staff to work at their optimum ability. Lord please take away the fear and replace it with your warm and loving Spirit. Reassure her that You are there and will not go away especially in those hours of great need. Also Lord bless her to heal and make a full recovery.We thank you father because we know and have great faith in what you will do and already have done. In Jesus name Amen.

this amazes me and yea Im praying for your recovery as its mid week now.I've never had back pain but I do know everything is situated back there.praying for your pain to be lessoned up here and for Jesus to ease your discomfort.Just wondering,what did you do to have this happen at 16,a sports injury? I'll pray this isn't a lifelong occurance and you'll go on to be active.

Thanks everyone. Just four more days. I'm also hoping they won't have to put a chest tube in since they're cutting my side and said they might have to.

I've been praying a lot and I'm feeling much better... feeling more comfortable and have faith that He will allow everything to go well.

Madies - I had scoliosis, but with what's happened it's kind of complicated to explain. They thought I had broke my back or injured it, but that didn't happen so I don't know.

Father, be with Your daughter during her surgery on Monday. She needs You, Father. Be her shelter when she is worried. May she know that You have her in Your hands, and You will not let Your people hurt. Father, You are an awesome God, and I believe that her back will be healed through the medical doctor. I've been dehydrated and been back to the hospital, but I'm doing okay today. If I puke again I'm going to have to go back.

Although you have been through so much recently, just by reading your prayers you can see how much faith you have. Now have faith that the Lord will take ur sickness away. Keep that chin up mate!
