Which is why faith is not a virtue, as it allows one to hold unreasonable beliefs.
We already settled that. That is sometimes the case, but not always. Its not unreasonable for me to believe 600,000 Hebrews escaped Egyptian slavery. Its possible.

With zero supporting evidence to suggest this ever occurred, what else should one call it, if not unreasonable?

Hume's maxim.

Its good to hope in the Lord. Surely this magnificent creation is all the proof one needs.
Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?

We have his word that the exodus occurred. You know where that is recorded I'm sure. I choose to believe that it could have happened. Its possible
You don't have anything written by "Moses." All you have are copies of copies of copies, written by anonymous men, claiming that "Moses" wrote them. As for actual archaeological evidence for an "exodus," there is none. Zero. Zilch. Nada. The Israeli government even sponsored a legitimate endeavor to try and prove the Exodus story, and was abandoned after several years because not one shred of evidence was ever found to support the myth of 1,000,000 Hebrews living in a ten square mile spit of desert. Not to mention, the Egyptians were blithely unaware of their supposed interactions with the Hebrews. It's a myth, no critical historians consider this to be reality. In fact, Moses is considered to be legend, and not real. Sorry.

Archeologists are not infallible, they have been known to misinterpret data, and the exodus happed thousands of years ago, so I doubt you could expect to find much anyway.

Archeologists are not infallible,
Right, which is why science works on consensus, and can be independently verified.
they have been known to misinterpret data,
Yep. But science is self correcting. See above.
and the exodus happed thousands of years ago,
Yes, I'm familiar with the claim.
so I doubt you could expect to find much anyway.
OK with you if I accept what the experts say over your opinion?

In you opinion maybe, but not mine, and millions of other folks too
Well, every answer we've come to know about our physical reality has come from science, and not religion. And every time we turn over a new stone,we never find god/s. So, that gap keeps getting smaller and smaller, so I'll go with the odds, and proportion my beliefs to the evidence. After all, it's what a wise man does.
