What do I have to repent for? I believe that the term I have used, if any, is usually blasphemy. I may have used heretical long long ago, but I do not remember doing so.

Also I said that the idea of the Bible being the word of God is not even supported by the Bible. And no one has been able to show that I am wrong. That is a relatively easy challenge if I am wrong.

But to say that AV ever beat me, you seriously have to be joking. He linked a video that only took a few seconds of listening to to realize that it was pure garbage. I even listened to it longer after that, a whole thirty seconds longer than the next person that almost died laughing at it. As a favor after listening to the garbage of the first one for as long as I could take I listened to the second one at least as long as a favor to AV, for which he thanked me. He could not meet my challenge of finding one valid point for either 13 minute + video.

I'm curious about one thing...

Most people here have said that reality is a more accurate source of information about what is real than the Bible.

But there are a few who say that the Bible is the more accurate source. How exactly would this work? Even if we accept the idea that the Bible and reality are in perfect agreement in all cases, wouldn't that mean that reality is equally as accurate as the Bible? How can the Bible be MORE accurate unless it tells us something about reality that reality doesn't tell us?

But if that is the case, how could we ever know if such a Biblical claim is correct if there's no way to test it out? After all, just about every holy text makes similar claims. How could we see which of these claims are correct and which aren't?

Without a way to verify the Bible's claim that there are three people there, how can you know it is right?

I can claim that there's an invisible dragon there as well, and that reality can't detect it. How could you ever prove me wrong?

No. That was clearly fake. Could a airbag go off accidentally? Conceivably yes. But it is highly unlikely. Even so, for all of the times that they may not work you need to remember that on average they DO work at the right time. They have saved many thousands of lives.

Now seriously, would you feel safer in you nice new modern car, which will "die" to protect you, or a rolling wreck from the '50's where if you hit something the odds are that the car will come out looking half decent but you won't?

I see that the creationists have avoided answering this question honestly. They know the answer. Cars are ten times safer now than they were in the '50's. Science makes life nicer, safer, more entertaining etc..
