God would have corrected it to "coney" not to hare, as hare is a correct translation. God would have changed it from "the hare and the hyrax" to "the hare and the coney" and Coney means Rabbit. Its an english word whose meaning has not changed. When it was written it meant rabbit, and it still means rabbit today.
Thank you for telling that God changed it Hyrax to Coney. We don't use Coney over here anymore. But its still in use in jolly* old England.
*Maybe not so jolly right now, poor guys are having their worst ever World Cup.
