I think life will change drastically for me over the next couple of years. CF has seen me through some major changes already (it's a miracle I'm still here now), but there'll come a point when the body of the caterpillar will evolve into the butterfly, and it'll no longer be 'proper' for me to post here anymore. (On any CF subforum).

Same goes for all of us, I've always just been very good at keeping one ear on the future. The last five years unfolded more than less as planned.

Anyway, this isn't about me. That member with 3.8M posts hasn't been on in six months - you'd better cover some ground on him.

No, you should have that attitude.

I've flown the flag of fierce independence for nearly a decade now - I even took it around the world with me, multiple times. Ticked off two bucket lists, and am now on the brink of achieving my biggest goals. I've done just about everything that CAN be done as a single person.

Time to up the ante a bit, soon. I'm becoming a bit of a big fish in a small bowl, I actually need to be challenged a bit by the female mind.

Over on another forum during the mid-2000s, I planned to retire on 1,337 posts. Forums proved too addicting to do that at the time.

When I got to 1337 here I didn't post for a day just to leave it like that. lol

I went through a phase of always getting banned at 1,900 posts. I don't know why, but it was always that exact number, or near it.

I was even a moderator on one of them. Still, I only got to 1,900 (maybe 1,950.)
