Hello people on this forum,

I am Taha (not my real name sorry just worried for exposure).
I am an Muslim looking to become a Christian.
I just don’t believe the Islam for some reason.
My family is fully muslim and if i become Christian publicely i’ll become a failure.
I am the only one who doesn’t believe in it.
How can i become an Christian? What do i have to read to begin with?
I really need help. I am for some reason fearing the devil (Satan).
I am getting scared when i am alone, when i am alone in a room with a mirror.
I get goosebumps when i think about him. I seek help.
I cannot live with this fear anymore. I cannot call this life.
Please i need help.

Greetings,

Taha.

Welcome Taha.
Seems like the Lord is drawing you to Him.
That is a very good thing.
He loves you and laid down His life for you on The Cross.
He was buried and rose on the third day according to the Holy Scriptures.
Death had no sting and the grave no victory concerning the Lord and Saviour of the world Jesus the Christ.
If you believe that this is true , than place your faith in Jesus Christ .
Ask Him to forgive you of your sins and redeem your soul and save you.
He knows your heart friend.
It seems like you are ready to be redeemed by the blood of The Crucified One .
Only Jesus Christ can redeem your soul by His shed blood which makes an atonement for our sins.
Ask Him to save you friend.
Put your faith into Him .
His waiting with open arms.

I shall pray for you now.
Much love my friend.
In the name of our Saviour Jesus Christ.
Amen.

Hello Taha and welcome!

There are experienced Christians here who can help you. Unfortunately the Pastor who helped me is away at the moment. His name is southernscotty on here. I am a relatively new Christian but I will try to help.

I believe you become a Christian through believing on Jesus Christ's death, burial and resurrection as payment for you to get to heaven. PLEASE someone correct me if I have worded this wrong.

Yes, God can help you!

Trust that Jesus Christ alone is your saviour. You need a saviour because like us all, you are a sinner for which there is a penalty, hell

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out. God is always near to us. When we seek Him we will find Him. To be a Christian reading the bible is very important to get to know God. But basically being a Christian is believing in Jesus. Jesus died for us, for every sin that we may one day deserve a penalty, Jesus paid the price for us, by dying in our place, He took the penalty for sin, so we can freely enter heaven. He has also promised to live with us, and help us.

I understand that coming from a Muslim back ground things may be tough for you. But God will be with you, He will help you, and aid you.

To be a Christian you need to:

Accept that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, died on the cross for our sins, rose the third day .
Accept that you (and every one of us as well) are a sinner . Ask Christ to forgive you of your sins and to be your Lord and Savior.

Go forth being Christ like as much as you can, tell others how Jesus Christ saved you.

God bless.

It isn’t just when i am alone it is too when i am in darkness.
I can’t sleep then.
Can God help me?

The person who led me to Christ had to pray protection around me because the closer I got to Jesus the more I was under demonic attack.. at one point it was so bad I called him and we prayed together, at that point I was set free from attack and my mind could think clearly again..

You need to go and speak with a Pastor in person and pray with him, he can help you like I was helped. Tell him why you need help.

I have prayed for you now, but you need a Pastor..

That said, what can I help you with?

What country are you in? Are you living in the west?

Dont go where you can be recognised..

Find a way to be alone and go farther away if you are able. I will help you also help you online the best of my ability.

Do you have a way to read books on a tablet where you can't be seen?

Book Details - Zondervan

If so this is a good book for you to read.

How much knowledge do you have of Jesus? What has brought you?

If you believed without reservation you are now saved!

Is it a sin if i hide that i am an Christian for my family?

I'm not sure to be honest. I think under most circumstances we should not be ashamed of being a Christian. It's easy for me to sit back and say be bold and go to the church or tell your family but I'm not you and I don't know the consequences. I'd say pray for wisdom at this time

Where should i start with reading the bible?

I read John first and would suggest it to others. It's in the New Testament.

Hello,

Thanks again.
Just to clarify things i am 13 year old.
Thank you very much!
I just installed from YouVersion where i can start reading the bible.
My knowledge of Jesus is very low, all i know is that he is the Son of God and that he sacrificed himself to save us.
I am able to hide that app.
But on my earlier question is it an sin to hide being Christian?

Most of the times people get abandoned by their family if they turn Christian.

If you would like to start your journey, I would recommended studying Matthew, Mark, Luke and John to understand truly what Christ has done. Then ask yourself if you truly believe these things.

1. In order to saved you must first believe on Yahshua the Christ
John 3:3,15-18,35-36; Acts 16:31-33; John 6:47; John 5:24; John 14:1; Romans 10:8-9; Hebrews 11:6; Acts 10:43; 1 John 5:4-13; Mark 16:16

2. We must believe that Christ was God manifest in the Flesh
1 Timothy 3:16; Collosians 2:8-9; John 1:1,14; John 8:28

3. Must believe Christ lived a sinless life
1 Peter 2:22; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 4:15; 1 John 3:5; 1 Peter 1:18-19

4. Must belive Christ died for all mans sins
Luke 1:77; Acts 13:38; Hebrews 10:16-18; Luke 24:45-47

5. We must believe he raised himself from the Grave on the Third day
John 2:19-21 ; John 10:17-18

Because of your age and the possible consequences it's probably best to not tell anyone for the time being but we also need to stay Biblical. Can anyone else offer advice?

I figure this is more help to you. But if you want English I can do that too..

It's fine to hide this from your family.. it's how everyone must begin. You have to learn, and stay safe while you do. I don't know your family - but I know they will be upset and it's better to wait until you have a clear direction and certainty.

I recommend reading online when you can. There’s a teen forum here that also may help with some things for you.

It’s very hard when your family have a different belief especially when you’re under their roof. I would say it’s not hiding your new faith from them not to tell them straight away while you’re gaining more knowledge and experience. It’s be much easier to talk to them about it as you know more and then you’re better able to explain why you left their beliefs.

There’s lots of places here to ask specific questions. And there’s the chaplains if you’d like to talk to someone like a priest/pastor but can’t get to one. But start small and steady and don’t be afraid to ask questions when you have them.
