The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

There have really been some awesome times in CF Singles. Times when everyone was being very kind and caring to one another, and times when everyone was being humorous. People there have been so supportive to me, and they make me smile. ^-^

It's the least that a foolish and wayward young knight like myself can do to be of service to others in the name of Christ. Lord knows there are enough times already I was NOT being of good service in His name or even just in general.

I think that the kindness I've received on CF has helped me to open up better here. I'm more able to speak up instead of being too shy to say much. Of course I still have some shyness, but I'm more able to speak up and do my best to give kindness.

Today I will start writing episode 50 of my series. This is the final episode, very exciting! I'm excited to have gotten this far but also glad that I'm almost done. After writing two stories a month almost every month for over two years, I need a break.

Today is the day that Metroid: Mission Alpha is finally completed!
I cannot believe that I actually did this entire series. This is actually only the third time in my whole life that I finished a series. Normally I lose interest in the series and/or the main character long before it's complete and never regain it. Somehow, Samus has remained my favorite character throughout the series!Similar threads
