Yesterday while my mom and I were out we saw a lot of pretty flowering trees-some pink, some white, even a few that were red or lavender. They were beautiful!

I have been going thru some of my mom's artwork. She had an unusual talent with the paint brush. I think all 4 of my kids have at least 1 of her paintings, and my step sister has one as well. I now have about 5 or 6, ranging from her very first (in high school) to one of her very last.

The funny thing is, I never once saw her painting, or a work in progress.
