The Islamic takeover of Britain is almost complete.

According to the latest data released by the Office of National Statistics, Muhammad is now the most popular name for baby boys in the United Kingdom, overtaking Noah in the process.

Mohammad was also the top boy’s name with its many spellings back in 2021 in four of nine regions.

From the article in the OP: "In 2023 there were 4,661 Muhammads born across England and Wales, up from 4,177 in 2022."

In 2023, there were 591,072 live births in England and Wales. In England and Wales, 51% of the population is female and 49% male. To make it easy, let's say 50% of those births in 2023 were male; that would mean that out of 295,536 boys born in 2023, only 1.57% were given the name Muhammad.

That's hardly an Islamic takeover, and certainly isn't alarming.

This has more to do with myopic naming conventions among Muslim families. As pointed out this name only represented a tiny fraction of the total names. More seriously this survey only gave one name from the bible in the top ten and that was the Old Testament Noah. In the top twenty names, there was only one New Testament Name and that was not exactly the most well-known one - Jude.

What this survey said to me is that people were becoming less biblically literate and were more pagan than Christian having forgotten or reacted against the names of New Testament Christianity. The British are not reading their bibles and the feeling of connection with the biblical stories is breaking down. This does not bode well for the generation that has been named here.

Contrast that with the German top ten:

They have 5 biblical names in the top ten including three New Testament.

American naming had 4 biblical names in the first ten

Sounds like some people are blowing things way out of proportion like there being a war on Christmas, etc...

No. It’s just showing the West is abandoning their Christian roots.
