He came in during a bull market. His tax plan, if it creates jobs, it will be for immigrants because unemployment is already about as low as it will get.

It's about the natural rate of unemployment. The U.S. finds it's NRU at about 5%. As we drop lower it becomes more difficult for businesses to grow, or even run efficiently. The way out is generally to employ immigrants in lower wage, jobs to free up the workers and help businesses grow.

Most of those growths are no more than a continuation of that last 7 or 8 years....you’ve been told this before. And in most cases, the growth is SLOWER under Trump. Take net jobs creation for example. This last year has seen the worst jobs growth since 2010...yes, jobs have grown, but they grew much faster under Obama.

I also found it odd that, during the election, Trump downplayed the employment numbers by talking about the "true unemployment" that includes people that had quit looking for work and that unemployment was actually 20%. Interesting that we never hear that from Trump anymore, instead he claims how everything is great -- despite that number he talked about still being in that same range.

In fact, he used the Unemployment-Employment ratio to claim that Unemployment was actual 40%. The ratio was 59.9 in January -- meaning just under 60% of adults in the US are "unemployed" (this number includes the elderly, stay at home moms). The issue is that the ratio has only improved by 0.2%, up to 60.1 -- meaning roughly 40% of US adults are still unemployed.

As has been pointed out, fewer jobs have been created this year; yet somehow Trump has gone to claiming how horrible the "real" unemployment rate is to how it is now the best ever.
