My first thought when I saw that was whether he was working for the pro-Russian Ukrainians or the anti-Russian Ukrainians.

Could make a difference in how one interprets his answers.

I think Manafort was working for the pro-Russia side, but it doesn't really matter. It isn't connected to the Russia interference investigation.

Just pointing out that someone investigating one crime isn't obligated to look the other way if they happen to come across evidence of another crime.

It's recently been revealed that Flynn apparently didn't LIE to the FBI, at least no one thought he did, but Mueller's team hounded him anyway ... and if recent reports are to be believed, Flynn will probably be exonerated and his guilty plea reversed.

As for Ken Starr, he had defined limits to his investigation ... and those limits were only expanded when he asked for additional scope and provided evidence to support the expanded scope.

At the time, the FBI didn't think Flynn lied... then time passed, and Mueller found evidence that the FBI (the very same FBI you guys claim is corrupt and/or incompetent) did not have.

I understand how shocking and frightening "change" can be, but it does happen.
