I wouldn't worry to much about holes in in the mozilla stuff, keep in mind that its open source and the common programmer is quick to fix the problem unlike our friends at microsoft. Just make sure you keep everything updated!

Yes this "common programmer" will also be happy to install backdoors too.

Backdoors are a little hard to sneek in with all the pear revew though, Not Imposable, just hard. I would beleve it would be easer to install a "back door" in I.E. then an open source project, and get away with it.'
