Many religious groups believe that the Tabernacle had a lot of symbolic significance to things of the New Testament, especially to things pertaining to God's plan of redemption. I do too and I'd like to discuss these things. There are many interpretations of the symbolism of the Tabernacle. The bottom line is that we don't know absolutely sure what it all means because God didn't explain it all to His prophets and to us but that shouldn't stop us from learning and to at least gain some amount of insight. One thing we do know for sure is that according to the book of Hebrews Jesus's death on the cross replaced the Old Testament sacrifices. To me that is as good as written in stone. To me it is a fact and is very pertinent to Gods plan of redemption.

I have studied this once before in the past and gained knowledge from a number of different websites as well as an indepth teaching by an evangelist named Perry Stone. I wish to put what I know and believe about Moses Tabernacle and it's hidden plans and mysteries here in this thread.

This hasn't been an area of study for me recently but I had mentioned it in another thread and a person wanted to know more on what I had to say and because I do think it is important I feel more than happy to do so. It is not only very interesting but I have gained much boldness in my faith as well as solace in knowing that God did have a plan all along.

There's alot of info to cover so I might as well get started!

Here's a Diagram showing the general layout of the tabernacle and where the holy furniture was set

diagram1.gif

The holy furniture:

Inside the court of the tabernacle or outer court
The brasen alter; was where the sacrificial animal was killed and burned.
The brasen laver was where the priests washed themselves before entering into the inner court or holy place.

Inside the inner court or holy place
The golden 7 branch candlestick(menorah) was continuely lit and represented the illumination of God's Holy Spirit.
The table of shewbread was where loaves of bread were placed and represented the word of God.
The golden alter of incense was continuely lit and represented the prayers of Gods people asending up to God in heaven.

The Holiest of Holies or the Most Holy place
The ark of the covenant, it's where God's mercy seat is on earth. Once a year on the day of atonement the high priest would sprinkle the blood of the nations scarificial Bull on the east end of the ark.

Take note of the diagram and how the furniture is layed out. Some say it shows God sitting on His throne. (Read Rev. 1:12-16 please)
The brasen alter is His feet, the brasen laver is His knees, the golden 7 branch candlestick is His right hand and the table of shewbread is His left. The golden alter of incense is His heart, and the ark of the covenant is His head.
This all represents God resting amongst his people.

Also take note of how the lay out of the furniture forms the cross! And when the high priest went into the Holiest of Holies to sprinkle the blood upon the ark of the covenant, Jewish tradition says that they did so by forming the Hebrew letter Tav, which is a cross.
Lev. 16:14, And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward; and before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times.

Also, Jewish tradition says that the mark that God placed on the head of Cain to protect him was the letter tav and again this is in the form of a cross.

Moses Tabernacle is a shadow and or type of death, burial, and resurrection and a picture of the grace of God. A shadow is an outline which is cast by the object itself and a type is a forshadowing of that which takes place in the natural realm pointing towards the reality of something that is going to take place in the spirital realm.

Hebrews 8:5, Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.

We know through the word in scripture that a type of things is used much by God. There are 5 prevelent things in which God has used as a type or a forshadowing:

1-People...1 Cor. 15:45, And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul: the last man Adam was made a quickening spirit. The first Adam was a for shadowing of the second Adam yet to come.

2-Events...1 Cor. 10:11, Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. Israel is a type of the church. God is saying, here's what Israel did, church, don't you do the same as they.

3-Things...Hebrews 10:19-20, Haveing therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh Things like the vail being a type of the flesh.

4-Office...Hebrews 9:11-12, But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say not of this building; neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. Like Melchisedec Jesus became our high priest. Melchisedec was a shadow of the Christ yet to come.
Hebrews 7:21, (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest forever after the order of Melchisedec)

5-Ceremony...Exodus 12 and Luke 22 The passover was a for shadowing, a picture, of Christ and his work on the cross.

I brought this picture down here so I can point out some of the items used in the construction of the tabernacle.

In and around the compound stands 120 pillars, these pillars are made of wood and it's from the acacia tree. This wood was very hard, strong, and insect repellent. It had to be because it grew in the dry and baren places of the desert. In the LXX it is translated to "incorruptible wood" and I presume that's because it took alot to damage it. The wood itself represents the strength of Jesus Christ and is a picture of him.

Isaiah 11:1, And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots Jesus is the branch from Jesse.

Isaiah 53:2, For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of the dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. I wonder if this gives us a hint to how Jesus's physical appearance was? Anyway, Jesus was the dry root.

Acts 13:35, Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, THOU SHALT NOT SUFFER THINE HOLY ONE TO SEE CORRUPTION. In his death the Father saw no corruption in Jesus His Son.

1 Peter 1:23, Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever. Jesus is the incorruptible seed.

Ok, so the pillars represent Jesus Christ. Of the 120, 60 of these pillars circle around the outer court. With each of these pillars rested two sockets and these represent Jesus's death and resurrection. Also with each of these pillars there were two ropes that anchored it to the ground. Jewish tradition has these ropes named; one is named Spirit and the other is named Word. This is to say that the balance of understanding rests on the Word of God and the Spirit of God (the table of shewbread and the menorah). Also the ropes named the Word were positioned on the outside of the outer court and the ropes positioned on the inside of the outer court were named Spirit. This represents how we first must here the word of God before we enter in and recieve His Spirit.

This also is to say that you can't have all word and no spirit or all spirit and no word. You have to have a balance of both.

With 120 ropes there seems to be a connection with Gen. 6:3 with God saying man shall not lived longer than 120 yrs. In Duet. 34:7 Moses lived to 120 yrs and died. In 2 Chron. 5:11-14 there was 120 priests blowing trumpets to dedicate the new temple. And in Acts 1:15[/b] there were 120 people in the upper room on the day of Pentecost.

These pillars had Silver caps on top and brass on the bottom. Silver represents redemption and brass represents humanity.

The pillars for the inner court and the Holiest of Holies were taller and were connected to each other except for the end with the doorway. With that and the caps for these pillars I'll get into latter.

Over these pillars of the inner court were drapped 3 rugs made out of animal skins. The first rug or covering and which was seen from inside the inner court and Holiest of Holies looking up was the Goat skin. The goat skin was white and this represents righteousness. The middle rug was made out of ram skin and was colored red or scarlet, this represented the sacrificial blood. The top rug was made out of seal skin and was colored black, this represents sin. With this we can say that on the outside man sees his sin but on the inside God sees his righteousness brought about because of the sacrificial blood of Christ His Son!

The specific layout of the tabernacle is significant because it illustrates God's prescribed way in how man is to approach Him, get to know Him, and how he gains redemption through Him.

The outer court was surrounded by a linen fence that had only one way in which to enter in. People just couldn't enter into the outer court wherever they wanted. The linen fence was about 7 ft. high and went all the way down to the ground. This made it too high for people to look over and too low for people to look under.
John 10:1-2, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

John 10:9, I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and find pasture.
This also reminds me of a song:
God's got a way, can't go over
God's got a way, can't go under
God's got a way you can't go around
You must come in at the door...:)

Ok so now we are at the gate, the door to the outer court, there is a vail but I will get to that latter. There are 5 pillars that complete the gate. Each pillar represents the 5 fold ministry.
Ephesians 4:11, And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers. There was either a pastor, a teacher, an evangelist, a prophet, or an apostle we heard the word from for the first time. This gave you access into the outer court.

The first thing we see is the brasen alter. This is where we present ourselves as a living sacrifice to God. It's at this point we become born again, converted. We then come to the brasen laver. Here is where we recieve water baptism.

We then come to the gate of the inner court, the holy place. There also is a vail and again, I will get to that latter. The pillar caps however have changed. There is now Gold caps on top while brass is still on the bottom. The silver is gone because you have gained redemption at the brasen alter and washed yourself clean at the brasen laver. Gold represents deity and divinity and this means you are now going to enter the deeper things of God. There still are 5 pillars as with the outer gater because you still need the 5 fold ministry to perfect and edify you into the deeper things of God.

The Brass caps on the bottom remain because you are still human even though considered a new creation in Christ.

Thanks thunderbyrd, yes it is a fascinating study and doing so does wonders for ones faith.

The one thing that gets me is how Jesus is pictured all throughout the tabernacle as well as the plan of redemption. It's hard to understand how the Jews of Jesus's day was able to miss Jesus Christ's comeing because it's all written down in the meaning of the tabernacle. I guess this is further proof in how love for ones religion and traditions will cloud the minds of people.

I suppose the question can be asked, how were the Jews suppose to know what all these things stand for and or what were they supposed to represent. The answer is simple, most if not all the information I'm posting here comes directly from their own traditions.

Actually I'm only about half done with this, there's still alot to go over so just sit back and read. Since you studied this yourself at one time, please feel free to butt in if you see me contradicting something that you had learned yourself! :)

Once inside the inner court or the holy place there is the 7 branch candlestick on the left, the golden alter of incense, and the table of shewbread on the right. These 3 pieces of furniture are in the holy place because here is where you start to learn and grow as a new creature in Christ.

The 7 branch candlestick represents the illuminateing truth of the Holy Spirit. The reason why the menorah comes after the brasen alter and laver is because the Holy Spirit doesn't abide with you until you have been born again and baptised. once that does happen and you make it inside the holy place, the Comforter, the Holy Spirit will guide you into truth. You will start to understand the Bible better. Verses in the Bible you once had problems with will no longer seem complicated etc., etc.
John 14:17, Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

John 16:13, Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

The table of shewbread represents the word of God and it's where we learn the correct doctrines that come from God. Loaves of bread where stored on top of the table and represented the word in both literal and figurative sense.
John 1:14, And the word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Matthew 4:4, But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

John 6:32-33, Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my father giveth you the true bread from heaven.
For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
Jesus is the true manna that has come down from heaven. He is the bread of life, the Word that came down from heaven! There's alot that can be said on this but I have to keep moving. Perhaps someone would like to comment further?

The golden alter of incense represents our prayers, worship, and praise to God. Like the smoke of the incense rises up for a sweet smelling fragrance for God so does our prayers, worship, and praise raise up to Him. As we learn truth from the illuminating light of the Holy Spirit, and we study the word of God and partake and eat of the bread of life we also learn how to pray to God and offer up praise and worship to him.

All 3 of these pieces of furniture are very important. You can't by pass them. You can't get born again and baptised and then seek to get into the holiest of holies without learning truth from the Holy spirit, learning from the word of God, and learning how to pray and developing a prayer life. Learning that worship and praise must come from your spirit.
John 4:23-24, But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

The inner court is where you learn these things. It's like our class room. The holiest of holies is the place we are wanting to graduate to.

Now we are about to enter into the holiest of holies or most holy place. Instead of their being 5 pillars seperating the two places there is only 4 pillars. This represents the 4 gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Matthew represents Jesus as our King, Mark represents Jesus as the suffering servent, Luke represents Jesus as the son of man our priest, and John represents Jesus as the Son of God come down from heaven. In order to enter into the most holy place you have to have an understanding of these 4 gospels, and as stated in my last post, you recieve this understanding by studying the word of God and recieveing the illumination of truth through the Holy Spirit.

A very thick vail stands from top to bottom connected to the pillars but the pillar caps have changed once again. Gold still remains the top caps because they represent God but this time the bottom caps are silver instead of brass because it represents the redemption plan of God. You can't pass through the vail if you don't understand that Jesus is king, priest, suffering servent, and the Son of God. Until you understand these things and the redemptive plan of God you will remain in the holy place and never enter into the deeper things of God only found in the holiest of holies. there comes a time when you have to move into the annointing of God which can only be done by understanding Jesus Christ.

Exodus 25:8, And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.

The holiest of holies is where God dwells amongst his people. The only piece of furniture that is in the holiest of holies is the ark of the covenant. For a good discription of the ark read Exodus 25:10-22. The ark is where the 10 commandments that God had written in stone was kept. Most importantly this is where God's mercy seat was set.

Once a year on the day of atonement, the high priest would enter the holiest of holies and spinkle the blood of a bull and then the blood of a goat on the east end of the mercy seat, you'll find this in Leviticus 16.

The holiest of holies is where God lives amongst His people. In Moses's day it where God dwelled amongst his people. After Jesus Christ's atoneing blood it's the spiritual heavenly place where we go before him in His presence. In heaven this is His holy hill, His throne room and His throne.
Psalm 24:3-4, Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?
He that hath clean hands and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
This is where and how we meet God face to face, figuratively speaking of course.

Well, I feel like I'm writting a book even though I have only scrapped the surface. There is so much more to say about all this but I'll leave that for latter.

I only had time to skim the posts, but you can link prophetically the Incarnation to the Tabernacle (interestingly the Temple cannot be) and the ministry of Christ. The Temple was an immobile stone-dead ediface erected by a people wanting to fit in with the rest of the temple-builders of the world (akin to 1 Samuel 8 "give us a king like the rest of the nations" ). Whereas it could be said the Temple of Saul versus the Tabernacle of David.

Amos 9:11 In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old: (See also Acts 15:16).

There are many other ways it is a treasure trove of Messianic prophecy. For example, the Tabernacle brought God's revelation into the wilderness for 40 years. Jesus was 40 days in the wilderness before the three temptations.

Though mysticism is usually taken to extremes, one cannot deny the mystic element of biblical prophecy. For example:

1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

This refers to the Old Testament scriptures (the New hadn't been written yet). And without the mystic element of prophecy one would be hard pressed to point to a scripture in the Old Testament where this is written.

With the mystic element, it is all through the Old Testament. Everywhere you read about three days there is some prophetic clue about the sacrifice for sin or our deliverance from it.

Observe Jesus' own pointing this out:

Matthew 12:39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: 40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

So, Nephilimiyr you are right on! Keep on keeping on!

Thanks John, I still have to talk about the vails. The vails are so important that I purposely left them towards the end to talk about but I'm just about done.

What you said in your post is also interesting and right on the mark.

So, Nephilimiyr you are right on! Keep on keeping on!
Thank you and I will but please don't get the wrong idea. I have studied this and believe it but aside from organizing this and typeing it out here I'm really just doing so from the work of others like Perry Stone.

No I haven't, sorry.

There are difference's in how the tabernacle and both temples, Soloman's and Herod's temple was set up. They all speak prophetically about Jesus Christ and God's plan of redemption. I do believe that Moses tabernacle was the most thurough or at least better to understand.

Getting back to my 3rd post where I mentioned that some say the tabernacle pictures God sitting on His throne. In Jewish tradition there is a term called "the breath of the holies". I don't know the Hebrew spelling but the ruach is the Hebrew for breath and it means wind, breath, and spirit.

Jewish tradition says that when God would come down and fill his sanctuary of the holiest of holies the people would hear the sound of rushing wind like the sound of one breathing and the rugs covering the area would move up and down, or rather they would expand and collapse. This gets even better! What did the people in the upper room hear when the Holy Spirit filled the room? That's right, the sound of a mighty rushing wind!

John 20:22, And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

Acts 2:2, And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

The tabernacle was not built as a permanant building. As the Hebrews move about so they also had to move the tabernacle. When they did a move they were very particular on how they did this. They first took out the holy furniture. then the vails, the linen fence. and the covering rugs came off next. Then the pillar boards were removed last. This is a picture of death. Because we are body, soul, and spirit and when we die the first thing that happends is your soul and spirit depart the body so the holy furniture is removed first. Then the skin on the body begins to deteriorate so the vails and curtains and rugs are removed second. What you have left are your bones and this is why the pillar boards are removed last.

When they set the tabernacle back up they did it in reverse fashion. first came the pillar boards, then the vails and rugs, then last came the holy furniture.

Ezekiel 37:7-10, So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.
And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.
Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breath upon these slain, that they may live.
So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

That's just a great story and prophesy but as you can see, the moving of the tabernacle is showing the mystery of the resurrection!

Ok, now the vails! There are 3 vails and they're made out on linens. One is set at the gate to the outer court, another is set between the outer court and the inner court or the holy place, and the last vail is set between the holy place and the holiest of holies.

The vails were dyed with an assortment of different colors. The colors used and what they represented are as follows:

Blue=Jesus the Son of God comeing down from heaven
Purple=representing the royalty of Christ
Red or scarlet=representing blood and the suffering Christ
White=Christ's purity and righteousness

The vails themselves represent the flesh and is not only a picture of redemption but a picture of the believer himself.
Hebrews 10:19-20, Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh

In the spiritual sense the first vail that one encounters as a non-believer is placed there by the world. You can't pass through this vail until you hear the word, the gospel, spoken to you through 1 or more of members of the 5 fold ministry. Once you pass through this vail and become born again and washed clean of sin there is the next vail.

This second vail is placed there by your flesh, it's a mental block sort of speak between your body and your mind. When you go to church for the first time you see some singing and clapping their hands, you see people in worship to God but you don't understand what the purpose of it is. There's something inside you that doesn't allow you to participate.

There's a sister musical group called Mary Mary that had a hit a few years back called Shackles and the chorus line to it goes like this: "Take the shackles off my feet so I can dance, I just want to praise you, I just want to praise you". I would be saying the same thing if I said it like this: "Remove the vail from my mind Lord, I just want to praise you". This also reminds me of another song which says, "Let the vail down, let the praise go up"

The point is that there is a vail between our flesh and our mind that prevents us from getting closer to God, from getting to know Him better, and experienceing Him more. And God has placed some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, some to be pastors, and some to be teachers to help us push our way past the vail and into the holy place of God where we can learn from the Holy Spirit and be taught through His word.

The last vail is a thick vail and the toughest to break through. It's made up of 5 sheets of linen sown together. It's the toughest because it's the vail between your mind and your spirit man. In order to push your way through this vail you have to have learned all that has been set up for you to get you to this place to begin with. You have to learn the word from the Holy Spirit. If you're neck deep into religious tradition you need to get away from it. Let the illumination and the light shine through the revelation of God's word. Sometimes you have to press your way through dispite how you feel or what you believe by way of doctrine and traditions because the holiest of holies is the place you've been searching for and the place we all need to be. In the presence of our Lord God!

I still have to talk about these vails because it is so important to us today to understand them.

So many Christians are only living in an outer court ministry. The only message that they hear or want to hear or are able to believe is "be saved and be baptised" and sometimes just be saved. No one ever tells them or they just don't want to hear that there's a whole other ministry waiting for them on the other side of the vail. So they're not growing in the Lord, they're listening to and obeying the flesh. As long as they can see or touch it, smell or taste it, they can't or don't want to go further. This is what some call the 5 senses ministry. But you got to push through the vail of your flesh and get past what your mind thinks and get into the word of God and allow the Holy Spirit to teach you. some people don't want to allow the Holy Spirit to teach them but it is a necessary step.

When you do that the Holy Spirit will illuminate truths to you. You will start to understand things. Your understanding will come through the teaching and the work of the Holy Spirit. then you have to move into the realm of the supernatural illumination of God.
John 14:26, But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 15:26, But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

Holiest of holies=the glory of God that transforms us and illuminates us

The annointing of the Holy Spirit will teach you all things but to get you to that level you have to be in the holiest of holies, in the presence of God. You have to pass through the vail of the mind and spirit. All these vails that we have to pass through can be made pretty tough to press through if we let it, but if we keep our faith in God and trust in Him, he will gently guide us through the process that he has prescribed for us.

Ok, here's my summary!

Why did God give us a picture of this tabernacle? To show us the plan of redemption. The 5 fold ministry, how we will enter His courts with thanksgiving, worship, and praise. How we will enter into the glory of God. How the 5 fold ministry and the 4 gospels will give us the plan of redemption and how redemption was paid for. How our bodies are a living sacrifice and how we are to be baptised with water. How we recieve illumination at the golden 7 branch candlestick, doctrine at the table of shewbread, how we pray, worship, and praise God at the golden alter of incence, and how the ark of the covenant is the place for total atonement for our sins, the place for our protection, the place for our victory, and the place for our total redemption.

Mark 15:38, And the vail of the temple was rent in twine from top to bottom.

:D Thanks be to our Lord Jesus Christ that he has made it possible for us to enter into His presence!!!

Hallelujah

No I haven't, sorry.

There are difference's in how the tabernacle and both temples, Soloman's and Herod's temple was set up. They all speak prophetically about Jesus Christ and God's plan of redemption. I do believe that Moses tabernacle was the most thurough or at least better to understand.
If you can find it read it. It is outstanding. He also goes into each peice of furniture and even the manner and materials that the Temple was made from. I am sorry that I haven't had the time to look into what you have written here in detail but what I have read is very good. One thing is quite clear; Christ and salvation in Him is the subject and message of the entire Bible.

Thank you for suggesting the book, it sounds like a great read and I will be looking for it!

I really didn't know how I was going to type this all out in this thread. When I started out I had no idea it was going to be this long and take this much time but while typeing it out it became my own special project. This is the first time I wrote or typed all of this down and it became more and more a pleasure than a burden because when first put to the challenge I admitt I viewed it more as a burden than a pleasure. And a note for the readers here, what I typed is only a start into this because there is much more I could've said on this.

I take it you have read John Bunyan's book, if so then don't be sorry for just skimming over this and I do appreciate your comments. I do hope those who haven't ever seen something like this read a little further into it and then do gain something from it. That's my prayer. Amen
