I'm not sure if a thread was made about this or not, but I'm too lazy to check through all the pages:p So yeah, I played this game a long time ago but all I did was wander around and kill random NCP's, so obviously the game got fairly boring.

But I've been anticipating Fable, and since Morrowind is the best RPG on the xbox (as far as I know), I decided to give it another whirl! I bought the game of the year addition and actually started doing some missions lol. I'm a high elf and I decided to join the fighters guild.

Now I'm doing a mission for the main quest and I have to find this cube thing in some kind of shrine or whatever, its really cool! Who else enjoys this fine fine RPG?

Man... I really want to like Morrowind, but I can't get over the annoyance of having to do archery "by hand". I want my CHARACTER to use HIS archery skill to aim arrows correctly; I wanna click on something and have my CHARACTER take the action. Having to arch arrows myself offends me.

Yeah, it is easy to get 'lost' in Morrowind. I'm glad that the game of the year edition came with a fold up map cuz it helps! And its not everyones cup of tea, but I gave it a second chance and I love it! But maybe that's cuz I try to keep myself busy with missions:p

I really enjoyed Morrowind though I never finished it. I think I'll get it again and get back into it since I still have my save games. I have a Redguard Knight who is doing pretty well. Most of the people I talk to tell me that I seem to be doing well. :D I spent 15 minutes fighting some dark elven guy down in a dungeon but it was worth it as he dropped some sweet armor. Yeah, I definately need to get back into it.

I remember the quest for the cube. It is in Arkingthan (sp), an old Dweaomer (sp) settlement (dungeon). Lots of good selling stuff down there but remember it is illegal to sell Dweaomer artifacts. I'm not sure how that fact affects your character but they do bring a nice price. Great game. I need to get back into it.

Its illeagal to sell Dweaomer artifacts? Dang it! I found some sweet stuff down there that I want to sell! By the way, where can I go to sell really expensive weapons for a reasonable price? Because I have the mace that's worth somewhere around 12 thousand something, but everytime I try to sell it, I always get offered 200. So do you have any advice on where I could sell stuff like this?

You can sell the Dweaomer artifacts but I remember reading somewhere or someone told me that it is illegal. I'd say just save before you try to sell them. I made several trips down there hauling out stuff to sell. lol

On the mace, I have no idea. Just try different merchants because some will offer more than others. Maybe try the Vivec (sp).

LoL! Yeah there's a main story line in the game:p But since you killed off half the population in Balmora, you may have killed some important NPC's that would've progressed the main quest! You might be stuck now:p But yeah, that's what I did the first time I started playing.

Yeha you can't commit a halocaustic rampage without possibly messing up the game some how. One important lesson I learned is to SAVE THE GAME MULITPLE TIMES! Because the worst thing that could happen is when your in a tomb and the door opens outwardly and you have attacking skeletons not bright enough to reverse and open the door. instant trappage forever!!

One of my favorite characters to craft is my own personal creation, the ninja class. I pick stealth as my main attributing class, then I put strength and agility as a secondary trait class. Lockpick, marksmanship, short blade, acrobatics, athletics, then I choose light amour and no armour. I usually dress with a Vivic gondaleer helmet, that requires you killing one of them, then dress in the black wearing netch leather boots and gloves. Great stuff, I like to jump up then off the hill behind the dremnor temple in balmora to boost my jump to the 90's.

Who aslo has a candle/light fetish as me? I take em all from everywhere then I set up about 200 or so lights to make my own Las Balmora.

Morrowind was incredibly fun. I LOVE open-ended games like that. My favorite character in pretty much all video games is the Monk. So I played hand to hand throughout. The problem I had with the game is, once I beat it I didn't play again. Oh well.

The game is nothing like you ever played thats true. But I do have a problem with the game. When you go into one of those temples you can worship one of those gods. That kind of bothers me so that is why i stoped playing it.

This is a great game. I never finished the quest either. I just walked around "gathering" items and amassing a fortune in my house. I downloaded some awesome mods for this game. I had a screen of my character I will try to find.......

Man, theres a main quest in that game? I juts go around killing things and getting stronger... I probably killed off half of Balmora's population!

lol......that's what my neighbor does......he will sit on a roof and "snipe" people with a bow until like all of Balmora is dead. Then he ends up starting a new game and doing it again....lol

Hmm, I found out you can just kill Lord Vivec then from there go to Ghostgate and finish the game...I think ill do that, pump up my stats with side quests, take out Lord Vivec, then kick some butt... Hehe. I also love the map that comes wiht the game, I put the poster next to me on the wall and use it a lot.
