Mormons; explain to me why you will not be Catholic.

The dispensations didn't have anything to do with apostasy, they have to do with the way God deals with His people. Here is a page that discusses what the dispensations were/are and how God dealt with man during each dispensation.

Dispensations in the Bible[/url]

Your dispensations are different from what I would post a link for if I were able. Now 50 posts are required for links when I read the rule it said ten?Hopefully I can return and post the link.

Wow, even the quoted link must be removed?

Yeah, one of the links on discussion of the dispensations stated that evangelical Christianity has changed the meaning of the dispensations, but what I posted was the traditional view.

Well, I'm glad to see you removed some of the original parts of your post.

The reason as to why I am not Catholic, is the same reason I am not Baptist, or Methodist, or Presbyterian, or belong to any other of the multitude of churches with their various beliefs and doctrines out there. Simply put, the Holy Spirit did not bear witness to me of the truth any of those churches or their doctrines. There is only one that the Holy Spirit bore witness of to me as being Christ's, and that is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with the doctrines and authority found therein.

See Testimony of The Holy Spirit

No offense intended Zechariah but I can guarantee you that it was not the Holy Spirit who bore witness to you that the LDS church is "true". If anything, it was a demon or the devil himself.

This could be said of any Church.

How can you guarantee that?

Are you either the Holy Ghost and know that you did not bear witness of this, or the demon that knows if it did? Without being either of these entities or having some special awareness that approaches omniscience you can't possibly guarantee any such thing.

I find it interesting that not that long ago you were wanting to be in the church.

It's hard to accept the ideas you present when they appear to shift so readily.
